I was not sure which exact model I wanted when I entered the showroom, but I was semi sure of one thing (diesel) and very sure of another (manual tran I was not sure which exact model I wanted when I entered the showroom, but I was semi sure of one thing (diesel) and very sure of another (manual transmission) - it was a must. Rick was friendly, listened well and did a great job explaining the differences between diesel and regular gasoline, and the range of Golf models. He was not daunted, but realistic, when in the end I insisted that I wanted to have a manual transmission, diesel car, and was willing to wait for it (12 weeks to the day, as predicted.) During the email exchanges that followed there were some technical glitches with VW's computer system for communication and sales order, which was a bit frustrating (I think for both of us), but once we were through that administrative glitch, all was smooth sailing. I appreciated Rick's sense of humor, his honesty and his deep knowledge about VW's, the VW I was ordering, and cars in general, He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. This is my 3rd VW, and the best purchasing experience to date. More

He was off Thursday when we took delivery, and advised us Brad would take good care of us, which he did. He seemlessly stepped in and took us through any questions we had about the new vehicle we just leased. Lst year upon getting a new car , I encountered Darren Bruno, who again took care of my wife and me last week. I have always valued Donaldsons as a dealership and for which it represents. Darren is an integral part of what makes Donaldsons the quality dealership it is, for he fits right in the family, by not only being a sales person, but an individual who is not only selling cars, but someone who cares for the persons he works with. His professionalism is beyond commendable, but more significant he understands what the buyer is going through in purchasing a new car. When you finish dealing with him, you recognize he is not only a salesman, but a most knowlegeable of his product and of people.
