A Very Pleasant Experience After visiting several dealerships and getting the same run around - varying, confusing prices, haggling and negotiating with the salesperson, the sal After visiting several dealerships and getting the same run around - varying, confusing prices, haggling and negotiating with the salesperson, the salesperson making numerous trips with my credit card(!) to show I was serious to the finance person, the finance person coming out and sitting down with us at the desk to go over the numbers, which kept changing, to relentless annoying follow up phone calls, many of which pronounced that they had "great news" for us. This always meant there wasn't really any "great news", at least not for us. At Donaldson's Volkswagen, we met Darren Bruno, who took his time to show us several cars, many of which we test drove. He explained the financing options to us and gave us pricing right at at his desk. After selecting a 2017 Passat R Line, we made an appointment to pick up the car. A few minutes after arriving at the appointed time, we sat down with Robert in Finance, a gentlemen, who explained everything to us in detail The whole process took maybe 15 minutes. We then met Chris in the service department, after which Darren took us to the car and went over all its features. We would like to thank Donaldson's Volkswagen for making our car buying experience such a pleasurable one. We appreciated Darren's honesty and integrity, as well as his personable demeanor and extensive knowledge of the Volkswagen line. Manager Steve Fulco oversaw the transaction and made sure we were happy as well. He did this with a light, sincere touch. The entire process was smooth and seamless. Darren is a patient, knowledgeable sales person. We never felt pressured. My Passat R-Line is absolutely gorgeous and a pleasure to drive. The folks at Volkswagen have truly outdone themselves. The car has exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to enjoying it for years to come.
