Easy Car Buying Experience I was in the market for a 2019 VW Golf R. I went around to three dealers locally and got the general feel on pricing. I expanded out a bit further and found a similarly equipped car and called around to see if the local dealers would match the price, one dealer would only come down slightly (and not match the price) I spoke with Mary at Donaldson's and she went below the other price (below MSRP for a Golf R, that didn't require me to drive an hour to Nassau County). Needless to say I went over there and bought the car. The paperwork and financing with Tom was quick and easy. I finished up the paperwork and took delivery with Darren the following day and he went over the car in detail (the Germans think of everything in cars.. even things that people wouldn't think about). The inside of the car was spotless, the outside I would say an A-. Met with the GM and Darren took me to the service dept. All in all a good experience. More
