I have had a great relationship with Donaldson's. I believe this is my 10th car. Second VW. Extremely impressed with Erik in service. When I arrived, I planned on seeing Mike the manager. Erik had introduced me to him on my last service visit. When I pooped in, I realized Mike wasn't there, I saw Erik and he brought me to mee Rob Cassero. Loved him right away. Great personality, impressed with his longevity with VW. Seems to be huge turnover in the car industry. Rob was very knowledgable, friendly and made me feel he would take care of me. He has a "can do" attitude. Awesome guy, have already told many people about him and Erik. Erik by the way is untouched when it comes to car service. To be fair, I always had great guys in service but there is the "extra mile" feel you get when Erik is taking care of you. I felt that with Rob too. Everyone asks if you live in Setauket, why go all the way to Sayville to VW. I always respond that there is no comparison in how you are treated. Debbie Ongania More

Rob Cassero is an extremely good sales representative for Donaldson's. He was always prompt and very accommodating about "working with" our schedules. Rob is very kno representative for Donaldson's. I returned to Doanldson's VW to Lease another VW from them, upon entering the dealership I was greeted and directed to Brad, the salesman I would be dealing with. I explained to Brad what vehicle I was l them, upon entering the dealership I was greeted and directed to Brad, the salesman I would be dealing with. I explained to Brad what vehicle I was looking to get for my daughter and he said that they didn't have that on the lot, however he was confident that they would be able to locate and get the exact vehicle I was looking for. What really impressed me is that there was no pressure for me to go for an 'in stock" vehicle. It was clear that Brad wanted to get the vehicle of our choice. We discussed a trade in of the '99 VW Cabrio with 166K miles on it. it was apprasied and when I asked Brad if they could do a little better, he spoke to who he needed to and got the money on the trade in that I was happy with. On the date of delivery it was very busy in the dealership, I later heard that they were delivering over 30 vehicles that day. We were told there would be a wait and directed to the customer lounge which was very comfortable. After a short wait we completed all nessecary paperwork, plates were changed over from trade in to the new VW Jetta, Brad went over the vehicle with my daughter and off she drove in the new 2013 VW Jetta just the way we wanted the car to be. Everyone we dealt with at Donaldsons was professional and friendly. More
