I know that dealer service is expensive I brought my car in for 30,000 mile free warranty service. They told me I needed two new tires due to excessive wear. They quoted me a price for tire replacement and installation costs. The price struck me as high but, I trusted that I was being given a cost-competitive estimate as advertised. I later learned that I was overcharged by at least $100. I contacted the dealer. They told me if I provided them with a competitor's cost estimate for the same tires and service that they would reimburse me for the difference. I promptly provided them with a detailed and itemized cost estimate for the same tires and service that was about $100 below what they charged me. Rob Kessler stated in an e-mail that he would need to have this approved before they could give me a refund. That was about 2 months ago. Now they do not return my phone calls or e-mails. More
