Professional service with no sneaky business tactics! I just recently purchased a new 2016 Subaru Forester from this dealership. Before going to East Hills, I went to a few other Subaru dealerships around I just recently purchased a new 2016 Subaru Forester from this dealership. Before going to East Hills, I went to a few other Subaru dealerships around the way. I had the worst experience at Grand Prix, where they were trying to sell me a used 2014 Subaru Forester for an unreasonable price. He had told me one price when I was sitting at his office, and when I called back about the price, he hiked it up. I was so upset about this so I walked into East Hills Subaru with a lot of apprehension that they would do the same to me; tell me one price one day, and give me a different price the next day. I made an appointment to take a look at some Subaru Foresters. After checking online, I came in with a picture of a 2015 Subaru Forester they had on their website. When I got there, Phil helped me out. He told me that they only had two 2015 Foresters available (the one I was interested in was already sold) but I was flexible so I had him show me a few other models. I told him that I had to be in a certain price range and really wanted to get the 2015 model I had seen on their website. To accommodate me, Phil spoke to Dennis about the situation and he was able to offer me a 2016 model around the price range I was looking for. Dennis and Phil did a great job at offering me a newer model of the car I had originally wanted, at a similar price because they didn't have the car that I was originally interested in. To insure that there were no price changes this time, I wrote all of the detailed prices right in front of Phil and had him check the numbers. I wrote down EVERY SINGLE NUMBER and calculated it all in front of him. Then, I went home to think it over and see if they were really giving me a good deal or just saying that they were. After doing research for a few days, I saw that they had given me a really good deal for the car, so I called back and the prices were EXACTLY the same as he had said. I waited a few days for the car to be shipped. When it arrived, Phil told me that the car arrived and he would need my paper work to process the order. I told him I did NOT want to process any paper work until I saw the car ( I had a bad experience with Lee's Toyota where they switched the cars on me because I didn't check to see if the car had everything I was promised it would have , again, I learned from this and came into East Hills very apprehensive). Phil was very nice about it and told me to come in whenever I could to come see the car. He showed me every single part of the car and answered any questions before I signed any papers! It had everything he said it would have. I was very hard on him because of my prior experience with other dealerships, but he was very professional and handled the situation very nicely. When I got to the finance department, I was worried that they would try to add on some extra fees as most dealers do sneakily but Arnie was very honest about the whole thing. He worked with me on finding the BEST rate I could get for my car. He wasn't pushy at all when I told him that I didn't want the extra warranties and add ons. He was very professional and funny at that! He made the whole financial process very easy and stress free! Again, I want to reiterate that he did a GREAT job finding the best rates for me. He also did a great job finding the best rates for my fiancé when he had trouble getting a car. I left with a car that I absolutely love and am very happy with. I got EVERYTHING I asked for and there was no sneaky business happening at this dealership. They are very straight forward and accommodating, and they don't pressure you into things like most dealerships do. I came into this dealership extremely apprehensive from prior experiences from other bad dealerships, and they completely proved me wrong about all of my thoughts on how sneaky dealerships are. Phil, Dennis, and Arnie were completely professional throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend going to East Hills to anybody interested in getting a Subaru. If you want to get a car without being pressured or lied to, this is the place to go for professional straight forward service. More

Best car dealership experience I have ever had Started out looking at a Crosstrek using Edmunds, went into the dealership and met with Nichole. She was such a joy to deal with. We ended up with a Forester because it made more sense for our family and again, Nichole and the rest of the staff made it very pleasant. Would definitely go back for our future purchases. More

Offensive Finance Manager Ive spent the past two months looking to lease. Ive been to at least 6 subaru dealerships in the tri-state area and more than 10 other car dealerships Ive spent the past two months looking to lease. Ive been to at least 6 subaru dealerships in the tri-state area and more than 10 other car dealerships and I have never been treated with so much disrespect. I was interested in the subaru impreza so i put a deposit down and had them give me their best price. Meanwhile another dealership gave me a better price and East Hills couldnt match it. When I informed them that I will not be taking their deal the finance manager DENNIS BAQUIRAN called me and proceeded to explain to me that he would not release the car to the other dealership out of spite and then hung up on me. Thats the kind of classy customer service oriented professionalism you have to look forward to with the finance manager at this place. Stay Away! More

My second Subaru I change cars every 3 years and this will be my second Subaru. I had traded in a 2012 Impreza for a 2015. Nichole made it such an easy transaction and I change cars every 3 years and this will be my second Subaru. I had traded in a 2012 Impreza for a 2015.
