Two weeks ago, my mother and I walked into East Hills Subaru dreading the entire car buying experience; however, we did not realize how different this experience would be. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Jamie Borack. She defied every stereotype of a car salesperson. She was warm, compassionate, knowledgeable, and quite personable. From her conversations about her family to her bejeweled mousepad /phone, she was herself and nothing less. Her demeanor eased our concerns and we knew that she did not have an ulterior motive. Long story short, we purchased the car within the next 45 minutes and felt 100% comfortable with her, the dealership, and, of course, the car of our dreams. Best Experience with a Car Dealership I have ever had There is so much positive to say that it is overwhelming. First Edmunds made a mistake on their website which brought me to a dealer much further away There is so much positive to say that it is overwhelming. First Edmunds made a mistake on their website which brought me to a dealer much further away from me then I would normally travel to. I can honestly say it wound up being the best thing that could happen. I was in the market for a Forester and was deciding between new and used but got an excellent deal on a 2015 Forester that was too good to pass up. Michael Polans if you get the chance to work with him is excellent. Not only do you receive no pressure but he is so knowledgeable about the Suburu line of cars and all their competitors which helps really make the right choice. Franco worked a very fair deal with me and Jayson made the entire finance process which is usually the worst aspect pleasant and easy. I had them put leather in to add that finishing touch I wanted in my car and it came out perfect. I cannot recommend the dealership or the salesperson enough to you. An Honest Pleasure So I've been looking for a new Subaru for a while now. I've spoken to several of the area Subaru dealership and East Hills isn't the closest one to m So I've been looking for a new Subaru for a while now. I've spoken to several of the area Subaru dealership and East Hills isn't the closest one to me. My family have bought or leased new cars in the last few years, the most recently being about 8 months ago so I've had experience sitting at a dealership looking at deals and cars from the import and domestic market. Additionally, I'm a car guy who likes to do research before he buys anything and asks tons of questions. The end result? My car arrived 2 months early. The difference between East Hills and the two dozen dealerships of various makes I've visited in the last 6 years is like night and day. I didn't get jerked around or get up sold on huge items like warranties or accessories. They inquired if I wanted them certainly but also gave it to me straight about what I might want or not and why. I chose a few things but not all of them and didn't get any flak about it either way from the dealership. These folks at East Hills are professional, each and every one of them. My salesperson was Steve Radow and he did a stellar job. Excellent and attentive comes to mind when I think about Steve because even a few days after taking delivery of the vehicle he'll take my questions over the phone with the same amount of time and attention as he did before we even completed the deal on the vehicle weeks ago. We'd been through a lot as a family trying to look for the right vehicle in the right color, style, make and model. Steve and East Hills Subaru are the only one of the Subaru dealerships that I think are capable of accommodating our needs to initially do a trade with another dealership and then seamlessly switch gears into ordering a brand new vehicle when the trade didn't work out from the other end of things. Sad is the state of things when other dealerships are rude, cold and dismissive. I remember being greeted from the very moment I stepped into this dealership unlike with other dealerships. Not once were my wishes ignored, my questions forgotten or my needs not met. This I think has to do with the culture of East Hills Subaru and their spirit of cooperation. I happened to observe some training of a new salesperson just joining the team and everyone was so supportive of the new guy, it was pretty great to see. There are places where there's a lot of drama and infighting. East Hills Subaru is not that place. Competent comes to mind. Thorough again comes to mind. The experience has over been overwhelmingly positive so far and based on what I've experienced we're off to a great start! I've heard of and already seen some of the great things about the benefits of getting a vehicle from East Hills Subaru, they really do seem like they're a cut above the rest. More

Surprise - experience from start to finish turned out to be quite the opposite, so much I regret not engaging with East Hills Subaru sooner. After going over all the options for the model I sought, Chris P. very quietly read me right in suggesting I consider the Premium model that was due in shortly. All the bells & whistles I said I didn't _need_ earlier in our conversation when itemizing them are the ones that I'm so pleased to have, in the long run. Michael P.'s tour of the Outback we took possession of was as entertaining as it was comprehensive. And Jayson S's guidance through the steps of sealing the deal w/ financing, which was probably the aspect of all this that I had the most apprehension about, couldn't have been more pleasant. East Hills Subaru isn't all THAT convenient with regard to my location, in the opposite direction from where I live and the areas that I tend to travel, but I'll be quite pleased to return to this dealer's team for service and whatever other needs may arise. Good atmosphere, good people. More
