First off let me just say that the second I walked in I was greeted and actually acknowledged unlike a few other dealerships I've been to before east hills. I dealt with Gary Candullo, he was very polite and very knowledgeable. Then the new sales manager Ed Whiffen introduced himself. We went over numbers and he was very straight forward but very polite. I recently bought a Chrysler Town and Country from East Hills and couldn’t be happier. Unlike the other local dealer I shopped at, the salesman was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time showing us the Hills and couldn’t be happier. My family had been going to east hills for most of their lives in new york. So naturally this is where we wanted to buy from. Well i'm writing to tell you that the experience here was just awful. Besides the fact that i had explained in detail, the model, and the package options i want in my challenger. It seems at every turn, the salesman didn't have a clue as to what was available. Everything he said regarding the package options was in direct Contradiction to what was clearly available on the dodge website, as well as other dealerships. Not only was salesman not prepared, it was obvious he had no knowledge of the car i was looking to buy. Every few minutes he kept trying to change my mind from a challenger, to a jeep. Honestly, if a customer comes in looking to buy a 50k dollar challenger, and its obvious he's serious about doing so, and has the means to buy this car on the spot, Maybe you should cater to that instead of trying to pump out another bullshit jeep. Now by all means i'm not just another a-hole looking for a toy, this was my dream car, everything about this car was a dream i had been looking forward to for years. So please, whatever you do, don't go to this dealership unless your looking to buy something in the most basic form... AND DO YOUR RESEARCH. because trust me, they won't know as much as you will about the car you want... all u need to do is 20 minutes worth of research, and you will be able to supply more information than the salesmen. They kept me informed of its progress along the way and provided the Vin # when the car was at D status in the Factory. They were knowledgeable and helpful about the vehicle when it was delivered and the transaction went very smoothly. After I placed my order with them, I read a lot of unfavorable reviews here of this Dealership and I was worried about what to expect. I am happy to report I had a very positive experience. I would definitely do business with them again and would highly recommend them to others. More

I was given a fair price on the car to begin with ( i know because i had already been to several dealers and didn't have half as good experience ). I didn't purchase the car that day , but Mike followed up with me via email and by phone to make sure i didn't have any questions. A week later i went back and took delivery of my new Jeep Wrangler. I saw an ad on Autotrader for a vehicle I had been looking for for months. Although out of state I thought the sale would go well.NOT These people took a deposit in August, the remainder of the cost looking for for months. Although out of state I thought the sale would go well.NOT These people took a deposit in August, the remainder of the cost on Sept 10th and refused to release the vehicle to me because they said it needed to be registered first. I called the NY registry the Ma registry where I live and the lein holder and all told me I could register the car myself. When taking the vehicle out for a test drive I told the salesman Charile that the car is pulling to the right and he replied it's the road. The car hadn't been detailed and had stains in the carpet and I told Charlie I wanted them cleaned. I had to send them more money to pay for a currier and my registration and taxes. I tried to pick up the car on Oct 2nd after talking to Charlie and he saying the car was all set. Almost to the dealership I called again to ask them to pick me up at the car rental place and was told by Roger that my plates hadn't come in yet and they weren't going to release the car to me until the plates arrived. I got a call from Charlie on Oct 8th saying my plates had come in and when was I going to pick up the car. On Oct 6th my insurance agent had called me to let me know the car had been registered the day before. Oct 11th I flew to NY to get my car. They hadn't cleaned the carpets the car still pulls to the right and I was so mad all I could do was get out of there... Never I mean Never go to this dealership. More
I bought a certified pre-owned car here, Certified meant absolutely nothing. My brakes were shot and needed replacing within 3k miles, my tires were cupped, and the battery went dead all within a month. I absolutely nothing. THIS DEALERSHIP IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!!! MY HUSBAND AND SON WENT TO LOOK AT A PRE-OWNED JEEP SRT AND NOT ONLY WAS THE SALESMAN RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS THEY SHOWED THE JEEP WITH FISHING POLES STILL IN IT (BECAU SON WENT TO LOOK AT A PRE-OWNED JEEP SRT AND NOT ONLY WAS THE SALESMAN RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS THEY SHOWED THE JEEP WITH FISHING POLES STILL IN IT (BECAUSE A SALESMAN WAS USING IT). THEY SAT FOR OVER 45 MINUTES, THEN THEY TOOK A $200 DEPOSIT BECAUSE MY SON WAS TRAVELING AND WANTED TIME TO THINK-2 DAYS LATER THE CHECK WAS CASHED--MY SON HAD CONTACTED THEM AND TOLD THEM HE WAS NO LONGER INTERESTED IN THE CAR 3 DAYS AFTER THE VISIT (JUNE 4TH) AND AFTER 18 PHONE CALLS THE CHECK WAS RETURNED TO US, DATED JULY 7TH!!!! 33 DAYS AFTER!!WE TRAVELED FROM WESTCHESTER COUNTY TO SEE THIS CAR--NEVER AGAIN TO THIS DEALERSHIP--RIGHT FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM-THEY WERE UNPROFESSIONAL. WE'VE PURCHASED TWO OTHER VEHICLES IN THAT TIME SPAN-A BMW AND A FORD EXPLORER AND WAS TREATED AS WE ARE USED TO WITH CLASS! WE OWN 7 VEHICLES AND NEVER HAVE DEALT WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS. WHAT A DISGRACE AND AN EMBARRASSMENT TO OTHER CHRYSLER JEEP DEALERSHIPS!!! More
