When I drove the car on the highway the first time I noticed a bit of a shimmy. Note only is this dealership a very attractive place to do business, I was impressed with the fact that I received absolutely NO "hard sell" for any additional items when I was looking to lease a new (2010 do business, I was impressed with the fact that I received absolutely NO "hard sell" for any additional items when I was looking to lease a new (2010) Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I was given a "no nonsense" price on the vehicle, which was considerably less than any other quotes (I had visited 2 other dealers). Mr. Kennedy was pleasant, attentive and knowledegable. I completed all the paperwork beforehand, so my time spent at the dealer when I picked up the vehicle was minimal. I would definitely recommend leasing or purchasing from East Hills Chrysler/Jeep. One AAA rep. was there, but he referred me to another saleman and said he would discuss the AAA price with me when the salesman was done. This never happened. 2. I was supposed to be shown an AAA price sheet to compare it with the factory invoice. This never happened. 3. Although I did not have the car with me, I was told the trade in value would be around $19,200 but could change with the official appraisal. Well, the car was exactly as I discribed, but the trade in offer was almost 2000 less because they planned to send the car to an auction house. I was not told this originally. 4. Basically, I was told that if the selling price was higher and not the AAA price, the trade in would be higher, which means to me that the trade in offer is based not just on the condition of the car, but also THE PRICE THE DEALER IS GETTING FOR THE NEW CAR. That does not seem very fair to me. The fair price of a trade in should not be based on how much the dealer is getting for the new car. More
