Dear Mr. Roldan, In my original email through Dealer Rater, I had asked you to provide your contact information so I could address your concerns. To date, I have not heard back from you on this request. You mentioned two employees in your review – Dean Blaker, Finance Manager, and Judy Burr, General Manager. They recognized your comments based on recent discussions with you and Chrysler corporate and provided me your name. I asked Dean and Judy to review your file from the date of original sale. I was informed there was no concern or negotiation at time of sale with respect to the $1,400 value of the warranty you purchased. As your warranty documents state, warranties are cancelable. Per the agreement, you are entitled to a pro-rata reimbursement of any of the unused warranty if canceled. In this case, Chrysler will determine the portion of the warranty that is unused and will send the pro-rata reimbursement directly to you. We apologize that we had an incorrect purchase price in Chrysler's records. This has since been fixed and Chrysler can tell you exactly how much the pro-rata reimbursement will be. Judy Burr, Dean Blaker, and I reviewed the status of your warranty today and it is still showing as active. Your DealerRater review stated you wanted your warranty canceled. If you would like, we can cancel your warranty, but we need a cancellation request letter from you. A second option would be for you to contact Chrysler and cancel your warranty directly, ensuring your pro-rata reimbursement check will go directly to you. Dear BrianAForan, I received your second communication through DealerRater and I apologize that we could not retain your business. I wanted to review the safety items you referenced in your first review as some of the June 2012 repairs made differed from the initial reasons thought to have caused the issues: 1. Leaking transmission caused by our mechanics using the wrong gasket - This item was actually a seal above the gasket that was leaking instead of a gasket issue. The seal was repaired during the June 2012 visit. Please let me know if you notice any issues with this repair. 2. Hard shifting transmission - This issue was directly tied to the leaking seal mentioned above. Please let me know if the hard shifting returns. 3. Shorted out driver's door - This item was identified during your May 2012 visit and was fixed at that time. 4. Failing climate control system - In May 2012, the climate control assembly was replaced. The issues reported during your June visit related to another component of the air conditioning system that, unfortunately, is not covered under your warranty. 5. Leaking power steering pump - Our technicians determined that this was a leak caused by overfilling the power steering reservoir. The pump itself was fine. We drained and refilled the reservoir with the appropriate amount of power steering fluid during the June visit. Please let me know if you observe any leaking. 6. Blown or leaking shock absorbers - Our technicians could not determine any leakage from the shock absorbers. They appeared to be functioning as they should. 7. Loose suspension components causing a squeak - We replaced the worn links and bushings during the June visit to resolve the squeak you mentioned. We continue to strive to offer a world-class experience to our customers. I am sorry we lost your business over these repairs.
