As I stated in my first communication to you, we greatly empathize with your situation, and we are doing everything in our power to help and assist you. Our ownership and upper management have advocated to get you a replacement vehicle from General Motors, as per your request, and General Motors has agreed. Additionally, we will continue to advocate on your behalf for the difference in payments and additional powertrain coverage. Ultimately, this decision is up to General Motors, and we will do everything in our power to advocate and assist you with this going forward. Dear Travis, We empathize with you about your check engine light coming on after only 400 miles. When you came to our dealership at 6 pm, our service department was closed for the evening so you dealt with Max, one of our sales managers, who unfortunately couldn’t provide you with assurances on the spot of a loaner vehicle and when your vehicle would be looked at and when repairs would be complete, as that is out of his jurisdiction. The next morning before 10 am, your vehicle was already in our shop you received a phone call from our general manager, Mike Marrazzo, and our service manager, Chris Moffa, regarding the situation and how we were planning to proceed from there. Additionally, we were able to put you in a loaner car that same day so that you would have alternate transportation. As you are aware, GM authorized us to put a full transmission unit in your vehicle from the factory. We are here to help you and be your advocate every step of the way as we have tried to do so far. Your vehicle is obviously a high priority and our management staff will keep you informed every step of the way as your vehicle is returned to factory standards.
