FIRST REPAIR VISIT: The tech replaced the alternator. The truck ran for 2 days and died again. Yes, I did have a warranty and yes,I was provided with a rental car for each repair visit SECOND REPAIR VISIT: The truck was in the shop for approx. 8 days. During this time the rep told me that they are having trouble finding the cause of the problem and said that it might be electrical. Extremely frustrated at this point, I went to the used car manager and he told me he would do his best to get me into another car. He also agreed to pay off the Tahoe in full. Having used all my money to buy this Tahoe ($5,000 cash down payment) i had Zero money to use in purchasing another vehicle. I was told by the finance manager that if i wanted another Tahoe my payments would be $250 more a month. i could not afford this. The finance manager suggested that i have my truck repaired or look at a smaller, less expensive vehicle (not a option, i have 2 kids). The used sales manager assured me again that he will take care of the situation and have the Tahoe fixed immediately. I picked it up the next day with a brand new starter installed.....3 weeks later the truck died again. THIRD AND FINAL REPAIR VISIT: The repair techs could not find the problem. I went to the sales floor again to see what my options were to get out of this vehicle. I was interested in a 2010 Traverse. The salesman Anthony told me that he could sell the Traverese to me for $24,995 NO TAX. This was extremely funny because they had the very same Traverse listed on the website for $21,000. SOME BARGIN!! Needless to say my wife and I just wanted our Tahoe to be repair correctly and despised the thought of having to buy a lesser vehicle. 7 days later the service rep contacted me and said that the technicians could not find the problem and the General Motors Regional Techs were called and it could be a week or more to come down to the dealer to look at the truck. At this point I was officially done with Paul Conte Chevy. Adding insult to injury, I never received a called from Anthony the salesman to assist me with purchasing another car. I had enough with this dealership. I asked the service department to put my truck back together, jump start it and let me pick it up (un-repaired) I then went to a Honda dealer where they paid of the Tahoe and I purchased a brand new 2012 Honda Pilot. no thanks to Paul Conte Chevy. Avoid Paul Conte Chevrolet at all cost!! More
I was a little hesitant about my purchase at Paul Conte I was a little hesitant about my purchase at Paul Conte Chevrolet at first. I did my homework on the car I was purchasing and had all my info before I was a little hesitant about my purchase at Paul Conte Chevrolet at first. I did my homework on the car I was purchasing and had all my info before walking the door tax, title, plates, reg and paperwork fees. I meet Anthony the sales rep and we crunched numbers and the price of the Vehicle was as advertised. I knew about how dealership can add on hidden cost and that wasn’t the case and everything was negotiable. There were a few bumps in the road but things worked out in the end. The dealership was very Veterans friendly and I appreciate what Dave did for me to honor my service to my country. I would buy from them again based on the overall process and my end results. More

I thought that I had a good experience with Andrew Pilch as my salesman. I traveled in from Detroit, MI to buy an 07 Kia Sorento. The car I am very very pleased with. It was just as described by Andrew. as my salesman. I traveled in from Detroit, MI to buy an 07 Kia Sorento. The car I am very very pleased with. It was just as described by Andrew. He did a great job of describing the condition of the car, sending me the car fax, and detailed photos that I requested as well. I left with the car and was extremely happy with my purchase and the value that I thought that I had on the car. Update: Something bad did happen. The price of the car that was on the final paperwork was way different than our original purchase agreement. After hearing about my situation Mr. Steve Skulnik called me. Steve showed me that honest dealing and great customer service was what he was all about. By the time I got off the phone with him the first time, I knew that the mistake was taken care of. Steve showed me that he is a real businessman who knows the value of the customer to a business. He obviously cared about doing what is right, as well as protecting the reputation of his dealership. As I said in my review, if you made this right I would totally change my feelings about my buying experience at your dealership. Aside from this one thing that happend I had a good buying experience. There is just one other issue that needs to be taken care of. Steve has assured me that this will be taken care of soon and I truly believe that he will get one more small check sent to the bank to cover an overcharge in tax that came from the original misunderstanding. The only dissapointment that I had was that they had to cancel the warranty on my car in order to make the price right on the car, even though I was told the car came with the warranty and it was not an extra charge. I guess there was a missunderstanding about at which price the deal included the warranty. Steve was not a party to the misunderstanding about the warranty so I do not hold that against him. He really came through for me. THANK YOU STEVE!!!! Brian Wiggins More
