I started looking for a new Impala LTZ at a dealership that I purchased all of my vehicles from in the past. The salesman (also a friend) took me for a test ride and gave me his best price. I hesitated this time and went online for some additional price quotes. Almost all of my inquiries came back with "Come down and we will discuss a price on a vehicle of your interest". George Frouxites from Paul Conte Chevrolet gave me a quote on the spot that was way below my so called friends quote. My wife has been selling used cars for over 30 years and I learned of all the tricks, smoke screens, and other games the dealers play. When I went to visit Mr. Frouxite, he seemed different from all the other salesmen I met. He stuck to his price, there was no pressure, no obligations, no hidden costs, just the bottom line. He went out of his way to show me around the dealership and service department. I bought the vehicle and paid the price he had given me plus new plates. He delivered the car and spent over an hour setting up my vehicle and explaining all of the features. I was very impressed how smooth the whole process went. He was very professional and treated me with respect. I rated the dealership 5 stars because it was the best buying experience I had from any dealer, including where my now ex-good friend works. I couldn't rate the quality of work because I don't have any experience with the service dept. I was also offered over $1000.00 more for my trade from Paul Conte. I went to Paul Conte with my son looking to buy a clearance Base model Cruze. It was to be his first new car. They didn't have any but instead showed him a 2lt and offered him a price very close to t clearance Base model Cruze. It was to be his first new car. The Sales scammer Ari Nathan Showed us an invoice and said he could sell it to us for the price listed on the bottom plus rebates making it a really good deal. We left a $100 deposit(hope we get it back) and scheduled a test drive for the next afternoon. We drove the car and decided to buy it for the agreed upon and written price from the night before. We produce all the documentation for the rebates but it just keep getting dragged out. Ari is "supposed to be a "professional and experienced" salesman but now all of the sudden he could not properly fill out a sales form taking more time and starts mumbling that the vin # wasn't right. Finally he fills it out after 3 try's and takes it to his "boss" who I never saw. He comes back and says there was a "mistake" and the price was suddenly $1000 more and the original invoice is suddenly vanished and a "new" one appears. Yes I know what I saw!!! I know what I negotiated and I know what my son Signed for!!! There was no mistake!!! He knew my son liked the car and wanted to scam an extra $1000 out of him. A contract is a contract an agreement is an agreement. If you really made a "mistake" EAT IT!!! $1000 isn't putting you out of business and I would have sent everyone I know there. Now you ruined a young mans new car buying experience. I can assure you that I will rake the next dealer over the coals and photograph every single document and the window sticker. My only regret is not making a scene to scare the other consumers out of that place. DO NOT BUY FROM THOSE CROOKS!!!! More
The Employee who worked with us was absolutely outstanding. We sat with him for hours talking and he made us feel very at ease. I made a appointment waited a week then towed the car in which cost $100 the Svc mgr told the tow drive to put it back on the truck he is not going to work on it.
