As soon as I walked through the doors of the dealership I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Carlos is the salesperson who was helping me with my purchase. His knowledge of the cars was most was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Carlos is the salesperson who was helping me with my purchase. His knowledge of the cars was most impressive. He was not "pushy" in getting the sale nor was he annoyed or disinterested in my many questions (as was my experience in other dealerships). He took the time to go over the Equinox in compete detail and this was one of the reasons I returned to purchase the car. From there I met with Mike, who again was a gentleman who took the time to go over all the details of my purchase. Another great quality about the staff here from what I not only encountered personally but observed as well; is that they are All helpful and that helpfulness does not end once you make your purchase. Juan was very attentive and friendly. He didnt pressure us into buying something we didnt want or upgrading to a car with more bells and whistles. Dealing with him was like dealing with a friend. Extremely helpful and straight foward. We dealt with with two other people besides JP (manager and final paper work office). They were both excellent to deal with as well. We now realize that not all dealerships operate that way and East Hills in Douglaston has become someplace we would recommend to anyone looking to buy or lease. The first time we came, we received our information in a timely and straight foward way. When we came back a second time to finalize everything, it took a while. However, everyone there was apologetic and very nice. We were given frequent updates of how much longer it would be and never felt ignored. JP even offered to buys us drinks out of his own pocket (we declined). The best part was that there were no hidden costs. Whatever we were told in the beginning, is what we paid in the end. This is definitely a dealership we would return to. More
