I live in McKinney. I drive across town, passing two other VW dealerships, and take it to Rusty Wallis to get all my service done. The reason is the level of service by Jeff Hagan. There are very few times in my life that i can remember ever getting the level of service that I received working with Jeff. When talking to Jeff you know your getting the truth about your vehicles needs and not getting taken advantage of. The team at Rusty Wallis is a cut above the competition. Thank you again Jeff. Just wanted to say that I am soooo glad Jeff Fagan is back at this location. He has been my service manager since 2006 and I will continue to buy Volkswagen vehicles just because of his excellent service back at this location. These days in time all anyone cares about is quantity rather than QUALITY service and Jeff defines that "Quality Service" that consumers look for. He has taken such great care of me and my car over the years that I have followed him from Rusty Wallis to Boardwalk and back even though I live in Forney. He does business the right way and the industry needs more individuals like him to run a GREAT COMPANY. He's personable, honest, and takes pride in his job and that's what I look for in a service manager. Not often do I find people out there like him so I am super glad to have him as my service manager!!!! More
The biggest reason by far that we drove 3 hours to buy a car from Rusty Wallis was the cheaper price. But not far behind is the help of the salesman, Scott Pittenger. Scott was incredibly helpful and patient, and very available to answer our questions in the research phase. When we got to the dealership, Scott was knowledgable and friendly, and very approachable. Definitely made our experience a good one, especially as we were a bit nervous. Scott went to the extreme to be helpful - setting everything up ahead of time, even down to little things like screwing the license plate on the car and warming it up for us...and getting an extra iPod cable. As car salesman go, Scott breaks the mold in all the right ways. Professional and friendly. More

Great service. I was impressed with the friendliness and expertise of the employee who sold me the car. One thing that wasn't so great was that one of the sale's employees tried to push an insurance plan th expertise of the employee who sold me the car. We went to this dealer knowing they had a used 2010 jetta diesel manuel which is what we were interested in. We were immediately told they had no diesels. We asked again they went to check and then showed diesel manuel which is what we were interested in. We were immediately told they had no diesels. We asked again they went to check and then showed us the 2012 diesels. we asked for a used diesel again, we were again told they didn't have any. we asked again he checked then said oh i have to find it i found it before he did. we test drove it and were unimpressed with the manuel for the first time in our lives...the car had very little bells and whistles also. we then attempted to negotiate a price but the manager Carlos said he wouldn't budge. so we went to our car to leave, but received a call that left us in the parking lot so they came out and handed us our insurance which i didn't realize we had left..that is about the only good thing of this whole experience....then the salesman came back out and begged us to go back in now apparently they were willing to negotiate on a price, since this whole experience left a tast in our mouth we went to another dealership and were treated much better and were never lied to. More

I was looking for a white 2012 GLI with Autobahn, Nav, and 6 speed manual. The only one available was at Rusty Wallace VW. I live in Florida and called Mario to confirm they had the car. We negotiated a price (very easy) and I flew out the next day. Mario even picked up my wife and I at the airport. The purchase process was flawless and 2 hours later were driving our new GLI home. After I had a very bad experience with Park Cities VW on Lemmon Avenue, I came to Rusty Wallace. The reason I went to Park Cities in the first place, was due to my Nieces husband works for Sewell, and he an Lemmon Avenue, I came to Rusty Wallace. The reason I went to Park Cities in the first place, was due to my Nieces husband works for Sewell, and he and knows one of the managers in new car sales. To make a long story short, I was lied to, and was told that there were no black or blue two door GTI's available in the state with automatic, I ended up out of frustration with a Turbo Beetle, which after a week, I had to get out of it. I really did not like it. I came to Rusty Wallace, and Scott Pittenger was my salesman. He was great!. He found both blue and black GTI's within the first five minutes I was there. Scott was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about GTI's. I also got a great deal on trading in my 2012 Turbo Beetle. I explained my situation and he was very understanding and helpful in getting me out of that Turbo Beetle.
