Just another fine example I've been researching vehicles for quite some time now. I've used most all the sites that are reputable and accurate. Manufacture and independent. I located a Golf Sportwagon with a better than average price. Not exactly what I was looking at but a really nice price. I sent the info and my contact info as instructed. I received an e-mail response with all the regular pleasantries, however I was informed that the price KBB had shown included new car rebates and such. The car had around 6000 miles on it and it being used was not an issue. Still a great deal until the "better than average price" jumped $4000. KBB's issue, or so I was told. All that said I thought this might in fact be true, so I checked the "Official Rusty Wallace" website and guess what....same price as quoted by KBB. I sent a copy of their website link (Official Rusty Wallis) with the question of "here is your sites info". What are you trying to say? Prices match? Nothing. I also inquired about 2 other vehicles. Nothing, zip, nadda. I thought, yea, that's pretty much what I expected. I sent Robert one final reply, thanked him for his effort and half-heartedly wished him a Merry Christmas. I got the same in return. My response more than likely should have been a bit more sincere...but...I do not enjoy being lied to! The bottom line here is the price was exactly the same, KBB's price and Rusty Wallis' price. Bait and switch, I'm thinking yes. I'll find the vehicle that fit's my needs. It WILL NOT be found at this dealership! Once again, Great Job Robert! More

Supposedly this car passed a very extensive certified inspection; however, the check engine light went on within 48 hours and less than 50 miles of leaving the dealer. I literally took it home on a Wednesday and went to drive it on Friday and the check engine light came on. The repair is a major one involving the turbo system and parts and labor is going to cost according to the service department $2,500. I have a warranty to cover it, but my trust in this dealer and confidence in the quality of vehicles they are pushing is down. I would feel bad for anyone who bought this car without a warranty. I had the WORST car buying experience. Buyer beware of this dealership. I would never do business with them again, but if you do buy from them be sure to get a warranty so you don't end up in my situation. I asked to speak to a manager. It took an hour and a half before Mr. Wallis came to speak to me. I just sat there in a chair and the salesman got up and left. I was checked on after the first hour to see if anyone helped me yet. Terrible customer service. More

Someone's Voicemail whom of course will not call you back anyway...My last call was someone whom answered Mandy ...then a transfer to some dude who said "you need finance" which is where the F I thought I was being transferred too...and so forth...I think you get the point and hopefully this review provides you useful information so your prepared. I'm buying at Rusty Wallis not a note-lot for God Sake.... More

Service dept. over priced & mediocre service personnel I took my 2011 VW Jetta in for several recalls, of which one was an electrical issue. I was told that the VIN did not qualify for the recall even thou I took my 2011 VW Jetta in for several recalls, of which one was an electrical issue. I was told that the VIN did not qualify for the recall even though my vehicle pinged on all the items listed on the recall. Rather than offering any accommodations for my quandary the service rep. Team Lead instead offered for me to purchase another vehicle! WHY would I purchase another vehicle from VW when I had just had multiple recalls done?! Not only that, but I was refused any assistance with the converter box/anti-theft issue & instead was told about other maintenance issues costing up to $2,000, cost including an oil change! I was later told, in an email response to my inquiry that I could come in for a diagnostic test, but that repair costs would be my responsibility. This experience at this VW Dealer reiterated the disdain I have for VW as a company; from the shoddy manufacturing done in Mexico, all the way to the top with the crooked executives. I am very dissatisfied and cannot wait to get rid of this vehicle! More

Great Experience My experience with Mario Penate was great. My credit is not great so I knew it would be difficult to get into a vehicle I could afford. We were finally able to work out a deal last week. I am very pleased with my vehicle. I have missed driving a Volkswawgen since my last one was totaled a few years back. The car is everything I wanted. Mario was very patient and worked hard to get me the best deal. Robert Rodriguez was also very helpful and checked in on me while I was at the dealership, finalizing my paperwork. He told me if I needed anything to contact the dealership and he'd help me anyway he could. I appreciate the service I received at Rusty Wallis Volkswagen and will send anyone in the market to purchase a vehicle their way. More
