What brought me to this dealership was their on-line selection of cars. When I arrived at the dealership, the car I had seen on the web was on their lot and it was the price advertised on the web. In th selection of cars. When I arrived at the dealership, the car I had seen on the web was on their lot and it was the price advertised on the web. In the end, I purchased a new Prius C car. I am very happy with the car and am satisfied with everyone at the dealership that assisted me with the purchase of my new car. Two things kept me at the dealership that day; a salesperson actually came over to speak with my wife and me and there was no pressure during the sale. More

From our initial handshake to our closing handshake I felt very comfortable dealing with William. He was very personable, respectful and attentive to what I had to say. At any point was he less than professional. His approach to sales is very gentle but yet affirming in the product. Our overall experience was very good and I believe I would return to this dealer in the future. More
The sales experience when I purchased my car was long, but good. These folks worked with me until we found a pre-owned car that fit my needs. I was at the dealer 8+ hours, they bought us lunch during that but good. These folks worked with me until we found a pre-owned car that fit my needs. I was at the dealer 8+ hours, they bought us lunch during that period and kept showing me cars and working with the financing. I came away quite pleased, and made some new friends, I felt. HOWEVER ... I had my first 5,000 mile service yesterday and the Service Department was a big disappointment in the communications department. They found a repair need during the checkup, that was a good thing, but quoted me one price and when I came to pick up the car they charged me MUCH MORE! I went in for a $369.20 routine service and came out with a $456.00 labor bill. Service also gave me a loaner car and stated I had to give a $150 deposit for it which would be returned to me when I brought back the car next day. Then, when I bring the car back, I find out that $150 refund will be held for 2-3 weeks! Happy with sales, not happy with service dept. When I took the bill to my regular mechanic, he looked at the parts and service and told me he could have done that repair for under $300. NEXT TIME I'LL KNOW BETTER when it comes to service. More
The dealership did a great job at closing the deal with the car. I was happy until the moment I sign all the paper work. It had been a long day of car shopping and I was the last customer out. It was dark the car. I was happy until the moment I sign all the paper work. It had been a long day of car shopping and I was the last customer out. It was dark by the time I got into my new car. The very next day after work, I notice a few minor things wrong, especially since like I mention before it was dark and had be a long day. The seal to one of the doors was peeling off, subpar car detail, minor scratches, carpets missing, a set of keys did not unlock doors (was not programmed) and a SMALL dent (most likely form moving the car around the dealership). I went back to the dealership the very next day after work to show the minor problems and ask if these things would get fixed. I was assured by the sales manager at the time that it would, but would have to make an appointment through the sales manager who sold me the car who was not in. I called when the sales manager when he was at work and that’s when it all starts. I get into it with the sales manager because he basically tells me I can only get a detail; keys programmed and after a long time of arguing carpets would be given. He informs me why I was on my own with all the other issues. Naturally I got frustrated by all this especially since I spent a hour from work trying to reason with this man and get into trouble by my boss cause of it. He does not want to hear how the other sales manager said it would all get fixed and that it could not have been me who did all these things to the car in less than 12hrs of owning the car. I know if I would have caught these MINOR issues that could easily be fixed before I signed the paper work they would of have fixed them, no problem. I still almost a month later trying to fix this. It is not like I cannot afforded new carpets or take the time and effort to fix these things on my own. It is the principle of the whole thing. Now they are sticking it to me. I have managed to get my car detailed and the seal fixed, but I am still trying to get my carpets that were promised to me at the time of my car detail. Please stay away from this place and help me remind these places that it is not us that need them and them that need the costumer. More
The experience that I had with Jonathan proved that there are still good salesmen left in the car industry. He approach me, asked me how he could help me, and guided me throughout the entire buying process. are still good salesmen left in the car industry. He approach me, asked me how he could help me, and guided me throughout the entire buying process. Jonathan has done an exceptional job helping me from pricing, test drive, and explaining all the stages of the process. Jonathan works for you and not the dealer. Sometimes you might feel that with other salesmen but not with Jonathan. If you have the opportunity to purchase a Toyota please seek out Jonathan, its worth the wait, you will thank me and him later. Best of luck and hope you enjoy your car! PS. Managers are a bit pushy but you would be too if you had to sell 200-300 cars a month. More
The customer service at East Coast is terrible. Went in to return my lease and was interested in leasing another vehicle. The saleman, Gary, was extremely rude and walked away from me. Then I asked another to return my lease and was interested in leasing another vehicle. The saleman, Gary, was extremely rude and walked away from me. Then I asked another saleman for a manager so I could complain and tell him what had happened and he didn't help me either. He apologized and said sorry we can't give you the deal you are looking for. I ended up leaving the dealership and finding a better price at City World Toyota in the Bronx. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Customer service should not be this way. More
Everyone that buys or least a vehicle knows that you are in for a tenuous confrontation with the sale representative. But I have to admit that Mr. Jonathan Nunez of East Coast Toyota changed everything for in for a tenuous confrontation with the sale representative. But I have to admit that Mr. Jonathan Nunez of East Coast Toyota changed everything for me. Mr. Nunez is a young person with plenty of energy and enthusiasm to help you find the right car and the right price. Mr. Nunez took his time, made comparisons between vehicles for me and never displayed arrogance or discomfort to all my questions and uncertainties as to which vehicle to least. But it was not over at the dealership, Mr. Jonathan Nunez followed up with me two days after leasing my new vehicle, to make sure I was happy and to answer any questions I might have. I strongly recommend to anyone that decides to least or purchase a vehicle from East Coast Toyota to request Mr. Jonathan Nunez. More
Classic bait and switch. offered a vehicle at $250/mo lease. After adding the car to insurance, paying them a check for deposit and waiting for 8+ hours (entire day), they wanted me to sign a second cont lease. After adding the car to insurance, paying them a check for deposit and waiting for 8+ hours (entire day), they wanted me to sign a second contract at $300+/month, which is $1800 more than original contract. They did not even return my check and asked me to wait till it clears so I can get a refund. Yeah, as if I have too many hours in my life to deal with these low lives. The sales person Tony and account manager Paco seemed nice, but finance manager Derek and Lou seemed to be in this deceptive business all their live. Do not waste your time with this dealership, look across the street for Ford or Nissan instead. More
