My GF and I have been taking our 2005 Honda CRV to East Coast Honda since she bought it about 10 years ago. we don't go there for everything but we do go for what I consider "important" items. We do oil an Coast Honda since she bought it about 10 years ago. we don't go there for everything but we do go for what I consider "important" items. We do oil and brakes at other places around town but choose Honda Service for electrical, engine repairs, drive train, etc. We took it in this past week to get a door lock actuator repaired. We walked in and I told them that we needed the right rear door lock actuator replaced, I told them to replace the knock sensor, the serpentine belt, do a fuel injector cleaning, and to change the oil. When we picked it up it was 1250.00 dollars which was ok except for a 145.00 "diagnostic fee" on my bill. I asked what that was for and Kendall, a Service Manager said it was for "diagnosing" my car. I asked just what they had diagnosed as I told them everything to repair. Then he tap danced through that with "it was for tools and machines to fix the problem". Then it was for the technicians time, isn't that what I pay the "labor " for, the technicians time? Then it was "standard" industry practice, except that I called the local Ford and Nissan dealer, who both charge a diagnostic fee, but then they wave it if you get the problem fixed. Be careful of this place. They are obviously greedy and counting on customers not checking their bill. Oh and by the way, any dealer can repair your car, even if it's a Honda. My Honda is going to Grand Strand Nissan from now on. More

Wouldn't go any where else. Lastest purchase was 2 vehicles, same day with Rick Titus and if he can sale a car to my 77 year old mother-in-law then he's the bomb in my book. More

I purchased my first Honda shortly after Hurricane Hugo. Juan Enciso was very helpful and great to work with. He explained, in great detail, all the special features available on my new Honda CRV and answered my questions. The waiting area is always comfortable with plenty of seating. There's also tables/chairs available and a playroom for the children. More
