Wasn't given full disclosure on out of state purchase Recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership to ship to Arizona. When inquiring about the vehicle, I worked with a rep whom I asked to send to me all high-resolution pics of the vehicle and describe any chips, dings, wear, etc. I was told the BMW looks good although the pics were never provided since I could not get 1200 miles away to see it in person. When I received the vehicle after purchase, there were a number of paint chips, scratches on the interior, etc. The vehicle did not even look to be detailed on the interior (or they did a terrible job at it in the quickest time possible). So now I have to pay to get the paint fixed on top of the premium I paid for the vehicle. I would have appreciated to more candid answers to my questions on the condition of the vehicle even when the sales person is not incentive to do so in order to move the inventory. It is just good practice. More
Have bought 9 cars here I read some reviews that inspired me to write one myself. Having been doing business with EMC the past 12 yrs. All I can say is the few reviews I read I read some reviews that inspired me to write one myself. Having been doing business with EMC the past 12 yrs. All I can say is the few reviews I read with negativity all reaked of snobbery or similar attitude. All I can say is if I'm not at least one of their buyers with a long history of satisfaction with my dealings with them then I have to at least be amongst the majority. These guys bend over backwards before and after delivery. Inventory is always top notch. I've also been advised of any possible issues with any vehicle I inquired about. Shop with confidence, snobs are never happy but these guys are the real deal. More
Horrible horrible place of business To whom it may concern, We purchased a vehicle from this dealership October 2016. We worked with a broker I suppose some how did business with To whom it may concern, We purchased a vehicle from this dealership October 2016. We worked with a broker I suppose some how did business with multiple "high end" dealerships. The lady was nice and personable, aside from the obvious cheap plastic surgery, tacky choice in lipstick, and over tanning she was relatively genuine in a passive aggressive pretentious "uppity" type of way. We were interested in 2 different used vehicles keep in mind this particular dealership "prides" itself in being "high end" I could tell with all the 40k a year uptown Dallas millionaire wannabes who were in "sales" with their used Tag Heuer and fake Rolex watches of course they had a few used Bentley, Masaratis and Aston Martins but behind all of that you could find the "Common" cars. The Lexus, Volvos, Lincolns, Mercedes and Cadillacs. We decided on a Lincoln SUV over a Volvo SUV, the Lincoln just had a little bit more room. The car seemed to be in an pretty good shape with the exception of a few relative minor details that have now become bigger problems. Of course we had a promissory agreement to fix certain items before signing the paperwork. Part of the agreement was to 1. completely replace one of the head lights where a seal had been cracked and obvious moisture had been trapped inside. 2. The car must've been recently brought in as it was still a mess and needed to be detailed. 3. Part of the electrical wiring ( for power seats, radio, navigation and god knows what else ) that would normally be tucked strapped and covered with plastic coverings in designated areas one of the passenger seat was pretty obvious that it has cracked and the whole casing should've been replaced as well as another compartment holding wires guessing these were for the trunk to automatically open the casing was also obviously cracked and wires were exposed. Needles to say we bring the car in for them to fix these items it took them 4 days they offered us I think 1999 Mitsubishi type of SUV literally it was joke. We declined on the loaner. Finally when they say the vehicle was ready we go to pick it up the vehicle had a full tank of gas we put in, it was actually more dirty than the first time we saw it. I was skeptical about the headlight replacement as it seemed pretty obvious it wasn't completely replaced and now a few months later we have water in the exact same headlight that will actually have to be replaced correctly. Both compartments also looked a little bit sketchy one month later both compartments came unglued ( guessing they tried to use super glue to hold them together instead of buying new parts. All this being said you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. With the few upscale cars they had in their show room, and the 40k a year millionaires and their fake tag watches. This place is no better than a tote the note hole in the wall dealership you could find off of Harry Hines in fact in betting they would actually be more honest and transparent and I can almost guarantee the quality of sales lady we had the experience of meeting at this high end dealership isn't much different from the lady's you can also find on Harry Hines. Immediately regretted doing business with this dealership. More
WORST xxx CAR EVER After searching for an affordable Range Rover, I decided to purchase a 2012 Range Rover Supercharged from Earth Motors. Biggest REGRET and MISTAKE o After searching for an affordable Range Rover, I decided to purchase a 2012 Range Rover Supercharged from Earth Motors. Biggest REGRET and MISTAKE of my life..... From the time of purchase this vehicle has been nothing but a complete NIGHTMARE..... The salesman assured me that the tires had 50% tread on them....LIE immediately had to put new tires on the vehicle. The vehicle was sounding funny almost like it was a diesel engine. Had a local mechanic look at it he determined it could be the timing chain but wanted to make sure the extended warranty would cover it....NO Extended warranty I purchased would not go into effect until 30 days after purchase. We were told that we had coverage as soon as we drove off the lot!!1 LIE After numerous calls, arguing, etc... Vehicle was taken to a Land Rover dealer in San Antonio! After 2 days I was told timing chain was out along with the supercharger and the water pump. Oh and extended warranty still would not pay. I only received one key that was falling apart and would not work 1/2 the time. I asked for another key, nope I had to buy one for $600.00. The finance manager Nabil was the only one that actually tried everything to help us. He was going to send us a check $1500.00 to help with the travel to San Antonio, the key and NEW tires I had to put on. YEAH..ANOTHER LIE!!!!!! I begged for them to give me back my trade and forget the transaction. I told them to just take the xxx and cancel the transaction and I would even take a loss on the tires. I just wanted out of this continuous NIGHTMARE!!!! They offered to pick the vehicle up and transport it to Dallas where they could get it done cheaper. I refused and said if I am forced to keep this xxx then I want a land rover dealer to fix it. After 3 weeks of it being in San Antonio an agreement was made, because apparently the dealership misrepresented the extended warranty and the vehicle was fixed. I live 3 1/2 house away from San Antonio so I had to fly to pick up the vehicle. After 4 days of having the vehicle I noticed the brakes were crunchy. So I had a mechanic look at them here in San Angelo. Sure enough the EARTH MOTORS did a PAD slap! That's replacing the pads and not the rotors. But if they knew anything about foreign vehicles you have to replace the whole rotor and new pads. So back to San Antonio for another $2200.00. Upon getting the breaks and rotors done I returned home and the next day the brakes and rotors squealed constantly and I had a major oil leak. In the mean time we still had not received the tags and plates. So, again I returned to the mechanic here to look at the oil leak. Apparently the oil plug had not been tightened when the oil was changed. According the Land Rover they only change the oil by pumping it out from the top. So again back to San Antonio for new set of rotors and pads and another oil change, because of the leak I had lost 3 quarts. So, my paper tags are about to expire and I call numerous times trying to find out WHY I have not received them???? I was informed that I was responsible for getting the vehicle inspected and needed to send the inspection sheet to them??? Uh I'm sorry I thought the dealership was responsible for that. After going through numerous RUDE people that threw in my face that they had to pay for the timing chain, which the warranty company felt that it was a preexisting condition and that EARTH MOTORS knew about it when they sold the car. I had to pay to get the inspection and send them the paper ASAP so I wouldn't get a ticket since the plates were expiring. Oh and yeah they couldn't even reimburse me for the full $7.00. So back to San Antonio AGAIN!!! This is the second set of pads and rotors and again I am without a vehicle. Go to pick the vehicle up and still the oil will not register and the brakes and rotors are squeaking AGAIN. Once again I leave the vehicle in San Antonio for another week and half and once again I am without a vehicle. I finally pick the vehicle up December 2, and come home only to find I still have any oil leak. So again I call Land Rover and I have to take the vehicle back December 16. I received a call and a valve seal gasket is out, an airbag suspension is leaking, and the driver side seat warmer is completely out. So, now again I am in limbo with the xxx to see if extended warranty is going to pay any of the $4500.00 in repairs. They brag about FULL inspections and their reputation...ALL LIES and seems to me they will scam you any way they can!!! I will never EVER buy or recommend this dealership!!!!! They have made my life a complete living xxxx for the last 4 months. I would be very suspicious of any vehicle on their lot. More

Car Buying Nightmare After searching around for months, I finally found what I thought was going to be the perfect car! My sales rep was awesome! He was readily available After searching around for months, I finally found what I thought was going to be the perfect car! My sales rep was awesome! He was readily available despite the fact that he was welcoming a new addition. I accepted my deal and drove off in my car and that is where the problem(S) began! I unfortunately went to see the car on not one but TWO rainy days, so once the sun came out I was able to see that the car had hail damage. Now, it wasnt enough to where I would take the car back initially, but you would think that a reputable dealer who supposedly does full inspections prior to sale would have mentioned that. The next issue was with promise of paint touch ups and tires. I was told that I would receive new tires and a few touch ups to chipped paint on my vehicle. I took my car back in and the result was scratched off paint and tires with lower tread than before. I gave up at this point because I could see that I wasnt getting anywhere with this dealership. The final straw happened recently when I received a flat tire. I found that they bootlegged a zip wire system to attach my tire pressure monitor inside of my tire. Why do I assume that this company did it? Because they changed my tires not once but twice and failed to mention this issue. They clearly would do anything unethical to make and keep a sale. Without rigging the TPMS then my tire light would have stayed on. This entire experience with Earth Motor Cars has been absolutely horrendous. I would NOT recommend them at all. The surface may appear great but you will never really be able to tell what you are getting with them. More
