My wife and I visited Earth Motors to purchase a Land Rover in late January 2021. A deposit was placed to hold the vehicle. A number of delivery mishaps took place that resulted in a 7 – 9-day delay in Rover in late January 2021. A deposit was placed to hold the vehicle. A number of delivery mishaps took place that resulted in a 7 – 9-day delay in delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle finally made it to Dallas, and we proceeded to the dealership. What happened after that was the most unprofessional, unethical, deceitful lack of customer service I have ever witnessed in my 40 years of purchasing cars. We met with their financial guy and described to him what we wanted to do concerning our mechanic inspecting the car the next day at 10AM (it was 4:30PM). He offered to give us the keys and to take the vehicle but due to inclement weather, we decided to leave the vehicle at the facility and come back at 10 AM to take it for inspection. Prior to leaving, we saw the sales rep and told him what we were going to do concerning the inspection. We departed at 5:04 PM and at 5:15 PM we got a call from our sales rep saying that the car was being sold to another customer. In our disbelief, I asked to speak with the owner of the dealership (Haas). He began with, we didn’t want the vehicle and there was no reason to get an inspection since the car had a warranty remaining on it. I ask Haas to give me an hour, (it was 5:30 PM) and I would call him back concerning the vehicle. We arrived home and decided that we would go back to pick the vehicle up and called our sales rep (it was now 5:45PM). He immediately told us the car was sold to another customer and that there wasn’t anything he could do about it. I asked to speak to the owner again (Haas), who never returned my call. To borrow a line from Forrest Gump: life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get. If you read the comments from various customers (which I didn’t do until after our ordeal), Earth Motors should realize there is a systemic issue with running the business and customer service. All new prospective victims, you should now know what you are going to get. An experience of incompetent, unscrupulous and detestable service. So, response team, before you reply: you couldn’t find data about my situation and that you apologize for this mishap, call in a consultant to revamp your selling and business practices. More

I found that Earth MotorCars had one so I contacted them. Justin Bennett was my contact there. I have to tell you Justin did an awesome through out the whole process. At first I was a little hesitant, I live in Key Largo FL and the car was in Texas. Justin took care of that fear, he sent me a video and tons of pictures.
