I had a 7 AM service appointment for the 195 recall notice from Hyundai. Someone came out, who's appearance looked very unprofessional, turns out to be the service writer said, I called your wife on Sa notice from Hyundai. Someone came out, who's appearance looked very unprofessional, turns out to be the service writer said, I called your wife on Saturday at 4:15 and left a voice mail to cancel the appointment. I told him my wife never received the call nor a voice mail message. I also told him that, I called the service department on Friday and the service writer then confirmed that the part was in and to come in. The only call on Saturday. from San Tan Service was, a reminder about the 7 AM appointment on Monday. My wife were both home sitting on the couch on Saturday at 4:15 PM. There was no call on either of our phones, nor were there any voice mail messages. The last call and voice mail was the one from San Tan confirming our appointment and that was at 12PM. More
I appreciate the helpful and friendly attitudes of the people that work at San Tan Hyundai. When I call in to set appointments, or ask questions about maintenance of my vehicle they gladly take time to ex people that work at San Tan Hyundai. Worst ever service department. I bought my first Hyundai and have tried bringing it in to San Tan Hyundai for maintenance and warranty work. First I spoke with a Megan to make an I bought my first Hyundai and have tried bringing it in to San Tan Hyundai for maintenance and warranty work. First I spoke with a Megan to make an appointment for a 7,500 mile maintenance and check up.. She spoke as if it was her first day on the job and was clueless to answer any questions. When I actually brought the car in it was more of the same with less than straight answers. Next time I need service I will be going to Autonation Hyundai in Tempe. That will be about 7 miles further from my home but will hopefully provide more intelligent and/or better trained staff. More

2 Week Wait for Service is Unacceptable!! No Plans to fix it 2 week wait to get my car in for warranty covered service? Are you kidding me!!!! Called today 7/30/19 and the first available appointment is 8/13. I called back in May for service, same thing, 12 day wait. So where do I go? Autonation Hyundai in Tempe, here's what they said: "Oh yeah we will get you right in, when can you come down? So finally this time I ask the gal at San Tan Hyundai, what is being done to alleviate this unacceptable wait time? Nothing was the response summed up. Zero plans to expand the amount of service bays or hire more service advisors/technicians. What are you doing to help customers out who need service sooner, any discounts or recommendations? Zero support, zero discounts, zero recommendations. SUMMARY: DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI IF YOU LIVE IN GILBERT - YOU CAN'T GET SERVICE - and they have zero solutions to their growing customer service issues. I used to have Kia Optima, Horne Hyundai across the street was always next day service availability. I wouldn't have bought a Hyundai if I knew it was always a 2 week+ wait for service at Earnhardt Hyundai. More
