6 hours from xxxx 10 AM appointment, by 11AM, selected model to buy, but our color (white) not in stock, but can get from Scottsdale Hyundai., take 45 minutes to one h 10 AM appointment, by 11AM, selected model to buy, but our color (white) not in stock, but can get from Scottsdale Hyundai., take 45 minutes to one hour to get there. OK we would wait. Next 5 hours (we would ask about every 15 minutes- where is our new car) got nothing but "be just a few more minutes-they are cleaning it, or polishing it, putting special coating on paint- special protection for the desert- drying slowly today- you get the picture. We should have left and tried but they had our keys for appraisal of our car. And we went there on a Costco referral ! Car ready at 4PM. Off to finance where our salesman had loaded our contract with $3,500 of extras, plus another $1,000 for a security system. What we did not get either was a test drive, a explanation of how everything works, or how to make it work or a owners manual which should have been in the car.
