Scott, We appreciate you taking the time to write such a detailed review, but we noticed that there were a few missing details. We too believe in offering a full perspective and wanted to take the time to provide a detailed response. We will try to address your concerns in the order that you mentioned them. In regards to your original concern of an oil pan leak, which Christian Brothers said that they did not have the equipment to repair, the repair was completed with a new gasket and socket wrench here at our facility. The second concern you mentioned was a discrepancy in the remaining brake pad measurement in MM that we had notated vs. what Christian Brothers told you. We take measurements with hand-held gauges and measure from the pad edge to the pad sensor and are confident in and stand behind our original sensor-to-edge measurement. We will always provide photos and physical proof of any part/parts replaced when asked. As for your third concern, regarding the wheel studs on your vehicle, when removing your wheels to perform the brake service, 2 wheel studs broke. These studs along with the remaining studs on all 4 hubs, were measured and confirmed to be stretched due to the wheel lugs being over-torqued during a prior installation at your preferred service center. The remaining factory rings that you mentioned, were present and creating another issue. When aftermarket wheels are installed the factory rings/washers must be removed in order to maintain proper wheel seat and lug torque. When the rings are not removed, over-torquing is often the result, subsequently, the lug can loosen due to movement in the wheel over time. This is why we sent you a YouTube video link, that describes this issue in great detail. The recommendation was then and is currently, that you replace all remaining compromised studs. To address your fourth concern about tire tread depth, we use a hand-held tread depth gauge and the measurement is taken from the lowest point on the top of the tire tread. When you mentioned the measurement we provided was different than that of Christian Brothers, we offered to send you photos to confirm the measurement accuracy. We are absolutely committed to honesty and transparency in our business and do truly hope that this lengthy response will offer further context to your review.
