I was looking for a new challenger and my friend bought one from Earnhardt last year and he had nothing but good to say about the deal he made. When I went there and saw the new and 1 used i asked why som one from Earnhardt last year and he had nothing but good to say about the deal he made. When I went there and saw the new and 1 used i asked why some one traded it in already and Mr horn said because they just had a baby and wanted a 4 door, they traded it in on a Charger RT. Nice thing was the original owner even gave earnhardt permission to contact them about the car, and i did. This person was explaining all about the service that was performed on the car, the custom stuff done at the dealer, the trade in allowance given and the most important part was the loyalty status they have with this dealer, this was their 3rd car purchased there. I bought my first Challenger RT and what a deal i ended up with. I definitely would tell anybody looking for a car or truck to go here Martin H. More
Earnhardt Dodge has been our family car center 5 years running. I purchased 3 vehicles here in the last 18 months and every visit i left a happy camper. Buying a vehicle can be more a headache than a running. I purchased 3 vehicles here in the last 18 months and every visit i left a happy camper. Buying a vehicle can be more a headache than a pleasure, but Earnhardt Dodge of Mesa, Arizona makes your car or truck buying experience a pleasant one to say the least. I was considering purchasing a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 100,000 miles and took it to me assessed. I asked ahead of time from Bill Zeman as well as his assitant that they spare no expense and find any with 100,000 miles and took it to me assessed. I asked ahead of time from Bill Zeman as well as his assitant that they spare no expense and find any damaged parts that might need replacing or serviced so that I understand the *actual price* of the vehicle. I made an appointment for 2:00pm. I arrived on time, Bill was out to lunch. 15 minutes later, the vehicle was taken for the assessment. 45 minutes later, I received a, "Wow, you should buy that car, there's nothing wrong with it!" from Bill Zeman, service manager. Funny thing was that the owner had told and showed me a broken/disconnected sway bar linking (suspension) which was audible and obvious, a broken seal/bearing in a U-Joint in the front Right axle which was also audible and obvious, as well as a transmission-area leak which was dripping when I drove it in! The excuse was the car had low miles (100,000), they don't usually check the four-wheel drive system at all, and they noticed the low transmission fluid and topped it off, but did not connect that with the leak or any potential problem. Aaron the service person verbalized this with me and the manager. More
Purchased 2006 Chrylser Pacifica. Sales rep Thomas did a great job with negotiation then totally dropped the ball on follow-up adjustments. DEaler had car for over a week and when it came time for pickup on great job with negotiation then totally dropped the ball on follow-up adjustments. DEaler had car for over a week and when it came time for pickup only half the checklist had been taken care of. Accessories manager Robert Taylor spent more time pointing fingers and placing blame elsewhere for screwups in ordering parts than in expending the energy to do the job right to begin with. Thomas and his manager Gerry intervened to 'mediate' - this led to an offer to not only refund still-uninstalled parts cost but to install those same parts gratis. Check with parts finds Thomas never ordered parts as he claimed. Only received the refund, and now Thomas and Gerry do not repond to inquiries on replacement installation. Avoid them if you're looking for thorough follow-up and competent service on delivery of a new vehicle. More
I was contacted by this dealer and was told that I was preapproved for one of the great deals that they had giong on. I made an appointment to meet with the salesman. After an hour at the dealership he preapproved for one of the great deals that they had giong on. I made an appointment to meet with the salesman. After an hour at the dealership he said that due to my FICO score I would have to go to "the other site" Even though THEY contacted me with my preapproved status. They told me who to ask for at the "other site" Although I was frustrated by their misrepresentation - I went. Well... the person they told me to ask for at the other site was not a person at all...it was a department. One that which the sales people don't care to much to help. I sat for 40 minutes before realizing this. The salesman who did finally talk to me seemed bothered that he had to. I explained that the other site told me to come there and that they had contacted me by phone with preapproved status. He said "well.. you ain't preapproved if your here with a sarcastic chuckle. And followed it with "I don't know what to tell ya" I left at that . Three hours and fourty five minutes of my evening wasted due to this dealers call to me asking me to come in. I would never go back here or recommend them to anyone. Their misrepresentation and disconcerned attitude was frustrating, embarassing, rude and unprofressional. I guess a company this big in this area can operate with out morals and do what ever it wants with no regrets - - no connection to the person - - the customer they are dealing with! More
