I have searched 25 years for this type of Dealership - I've always wanted to find a Chevy dealer I felt was knowledgable, friendly and cost conscious. Most of all, I wanted to find a Service Dept. that I could rely on and depend on to have the skills and knowledge to get to the heart of any problem issues - my goal was to find a Chevrolet Dealership that when I drove off the lot after a major repair - I could and would have the feeling of knowing it was fixed by the best. This (Thorobred Chevrolet) is that place! All the people mentioned, especially Steve Marley, took the time to explain everything thoroughly and provided detailed information to every one of my issues and questions. Through several days of interaction with this group, and performing separate inquiries, I found this entire group to be the most knowledgable people I've ever in my life run across. Their level of expertise and knowledge is simply unsurpassed, and I've been in and out of Chevrolet dealerships for 45 years, both buying vehicles and taking vehicles in for service/repair. This team of people at Thorobred Chevrolet are the experts and the best in the business. They treated me, and my specific questions and concerns with respect and on a very timely schedule - making sure I fully understood the repair procedures on a pick-up in for major repair, as well as on a new vehicle I purchased while at their place of business. In all instances, including the major repairs, as well as the purchase of a new vehicle - I felt strongly the pricing and my costs were very fair; it was a win-win for everybody. All in all, I don't believe I'll ever find a team of people with more expert knowledge and skill to take care of issues -- and who will listen and work with me in such a friendly manner. Thorobred Chevrolet is MY Dealer for life, both in Service/repairs and for new vehicles. Mitch Stallard More

He made the process seamless and kept me well informed, every step of the way. I highly recommend anyone in need of auto body work to Francisco and his team. They do awesome work. Along with his attention to detail and friendliess, Francisco is very professional & courteous. I feel that he went above and beyond the call of duty with his customer service skills...not something you see very often these days. Thorobred is extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful employee working for them. Thank you for all of your help, Francisco, and more importantly, for taking care of my baby "Sassy". She's as good as new and very happy. More
Hand's down the worst GM certified service center in the area. After having endless transmission problems, I brought my vehicle in to Thorobred after moving to the East Valley. After three requests and over area. After having endless transmission problems, I brought my vehicle in to Thorobred after moving to the East Valley. After three requests and over 4 days I was finally provided a loaner vehicle, while GM's warranty provides for a loaner after 24 hours. The service team is rude and unprofessional. During the 8 days's my car was in, I had to contact them to get updates. Finally after obtaining loaner car I backed off and figured I'd just wait for a call. After having the transmission serviced two times prior at other dealerships, I was provided no explanation of what service was done or what the cause of the problem was. I was basically handed some paperwork in mechanic codes and told to have a fantastic day. To top things off, the didn't change my oil, per my request and the receptionist insisted it was my fault because I didn't babysit the service consultant when he entered the service order. That would have been $150 out of my pocket for a new oil filter and synthetic oil, guess I'll give my $150 to some one else. But that's not the end. they lost my keys and after about 10 minutes of trying to find someone or my keys I got paged to the service department. Ten minutes prior to that I was denied to speak to a service consultant because everyone was going home, yet they were all sitting around chatting. BUT WAIT.... that's not it!!!! At this point I'm fuming, I get in my car and ALL four tires are severely under-inflated. The psi was at 28 and lower, when they should be at 34-38. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out, my car chimed and the hazard sign in the car came on, you can't miss it. Not only do they not care about the product they service, the could care less about the customers satisfaction or safety. If you insist on purchasing a GM product (I never will again), please visit other dealers in the Valley, because you will waste your time, money, and warranty with this unprofessional dealership. It would be hard to picture anyone not receiving good customer service from the parts department since the customer originates and then picks up the item...end of story. However great customer service sh customer service from the parts department since the customer originates and then picks up the item...end of story. However great customer service should be recognized and Vollmer did just that from my initial phone call, his timely followup and then picking up the item. He was a true professional who I can tell likes his job and his customers. There were closer dealerships I could have gone to but it's employees like Vollmer and my past experiences (sales and service) at Thorobred that keeps me coming back and recommending my family and friends to Thorobred. To Thorobred: I usually never write reviews because of the time it takes, but when I received exceptional service I knew that I had to share my experience. 2 weeks ago my family and I were in a car accide the time it takes, but when I received exceptional service I knew that I had to share my experience. 2 weeks ago my family and I were in a car accident; no one was harmed thank God. My insurance recommended to take my car in to the body shop at Thorobred Chevrolet, they assured me that they would take good care of me and my car, that their guys there were all about safety and that I would have my car back in no time. I was given a 10 day estimate and received the call on the 8th day that my car was ready. That alone saved me money on the rental I was paying for. My car looked amazing. I would highly recommend the body shop at Thorobred Chevrolet. Thank You. Lisa Anderson More
Brought in my 91 Buick Park Avenue because it needed a harmonic balancer replaced. I had the part but was not able to perform the repair myself. Rick suggested they replace the front oil seal since that i harmonic balancer replaced. I had the part but was not able to perform the repair myself. Rick suggested they replace the front oil seal since that is behind the balancer ( $14 part ). They completed the job quickly and professionally, gave me a ride home and washed my car afterwards. The price for the repair was very fair and I am very happy to have my car fixed. Thanks! More

In June I made the mistake of trusting a used truck dealer located in Mesa on Country Club Drive, and purchased a Chevy Silverado diesel truck that smokes and has other issues. So I took it to a Chevy dealer located in Mesa on Country Club Drive, and purchased a Chevy Silverado diesel truck that smokes and has other issues. So I took it to a Chevy dealer in Arrowhead for diagnostics and after 9 hours and $110 lighter it was obvious that what I had requested which was a determination of the problems with the engine , was not going to happen. They did replace some glow plugs which I appreciate, but also managed to break a coolant pipe and then try to say it was leaking when it came in. They were forced to replace it at their cost. Long story short, I requested why the engine was smoking at idle, loping, and a "balance" of the injectors for starters. A few days later I found Thorobred Chevrolet in Chandler, looking for a $500 part that they seemed to be the only one in the valley to have it. The parts dept. cut me a good deal on it, actually cheaper than Autozone, and OEM as well. I checked with service and spoke with Mike the service manager and explained my situation, and that all I wanted was an HONEST answer. He advised to bring it in and he would have his foreman Blaine personally check it out. When I arrived, I met Mike, Blaine, and Nick also with service. They immediately got on it using their scanner equipment and obvious knowledge of the problem. A short time later Blaine had determined the problems including the loping which was attributed to the emissions crap as well as possible injector problems. I really appreciate the professionalism and honesty that I received at Thorobred, and only wish that I had gone there first in the beginning. By the way, it only took about 30 minutes and didn't cost me a dime, and I would have gladly paid. That's the difference in competent people who actually care about doing their job ! Thanks to everyone there including John the general manager who took the time to speak with me on this matter unlike the other location. More
