I purchased a Used HHR from this dealership. My buying experience took almost 9 hours which is unheard of. The Salesman that helped me was very nice however he was working in between myself and another b experience took almost 9 hours which is unheard of. The Salesman that helped me was very nice however he was working in between myself and another buyer so I was left alone for hours on end at points during the buying phase. By the time I left the dealership it was 7pm and their service department had already closed. So the stench of cigar smoke could not be taken care of. Then to top it off they didn't even give me the vehicle with a full tank of gas. Fast forward 2 months and less than 3K miles on the car. The running board on the vehicle falls off while driving down the highway (this is not covered as I'm told by the service department). The power steering pump is bad and has to be replaced. Then upon this being serviced it is identified by the tech at the chevy delearship (a different chevy dealership then this one) that this vehicle has a recall on the ignition and this should have been replaced before the vehicle was purchased. It is also identified that the car needs a wheel alignment (again have driven the car less than 3K miles) and the cabin filter needs to be replaced already. This has been a complete dissappointment. In June I made the mistake of trusting a used truck dealer located in Mesa on Country Club Drive, and purchased a Chevy Silverado diesel truck that smokes and has other issues. So I took it to a Chevy dealer located in Mesa on Country Club Drive, and purchased a Chevy Silverado diesel truck that smokes and has other issues. So I took it to a Chevy dealer in Arrowhead for diagnostics and after 9 hours and $110 lighter it was obvious that what I had requested which was a determination of the problems with the engine , was not going to happen. They did replace some glow plugs which I appreciate, but also managed to break a coolant pipe and then try to say it was leaking when it came in. They were forced to replace it at their cost. Long story short, I requested why the engine was smoking at idle, loping, and a "balance" of the injectors for starters. A few days later I found Thorobred Chevrolet in Chandler, looking for a $500 part that they seemed to be the only one in the valley to have it. The parts dept. cut me a good deal on it, actually cheaper than Autozone, and OEM as well. I checked with service and spoke with Mike the service manager and explained my situation, and that all I wanted was an HONEST answer. He advised to bring it in and he would have his foreman Blaine personally check it out. When I arrived, I met Mike, Blaine, and Nick also with service. They immediately got on it using their scanner equipment and obvious knowledge of the problem. A short time later Blaine had determined the problems including the loping which was attributed to the emissions crap as well as possible injector problems. I really appreciate the professionalism and honesty that I received at Thorobred, and only wish that I had gone there first in the beginning. By the way, it only took about 30 minutes and didn't cost me a dime, and I would have gladly paid. That's the difference in competent people who actually care about doing their job ! Thanks to everyone there including John the general manager who took the time to speak with me on this matter unlike the other location. More
Misleading and false advertisements. Went in for a advertised 17,995 truck and they said it would be 19,995 when the ad is clear as day it was 17,995 advertised 17,995 truck and they said it would be 19,995 when the ad is clear as day it was 17,995 More
I LOVE my experience with EVERY department at Thorobred Chevrolet! Especially after the service I got at Power Chevrolet on Superstition Springs Blvd in Mesa! After being ran off the dealership at Power, I Chevrolet! Especially after the service I got at Power Chevrolet on Superstition Springs Blvd in Mesa! After being ran off the dealership at Power, I came to Thorobred and was treated like a king! Power Chevy is a mile from my house but I make the 15 mile drive to Thorobred for the outstanding service I receive! I bought my 2011Camaro SS from them as well as my service and parts! I have called their management and gave them kudos for their service and let them know that how they treat their customers results in life long loyal customers. If you are looking for a great Chevy dealership, go to Thorobred!!! I work in customer service in another industry and I am impressed with the customer service and focus. As a customer service manager, I give them an A! More
My husband and I have been looking for a truck. We gave the specifics, test drove a truck and entered what we thought would be the negotiating phase of purchasing the vehicle. Todd disappeared for long per the specifics, test drove a truck and entered what we thought would be the negotiating phase of purchasing the vehicle. Todd disappeared for long periods of time while getting the keys for the test drive, getting the form to determine what we would get toward the trade in and processing the form. He even started showing another vehicle to another customer while we were waiting for him to return. We have a young child and an infant. As we went to leave, one of the other multiple salesmen that were standing around was pointed out to us by Todd to have information/estimate for our trade in. We have been looking for the right truck and thought we had found it, but after being put in a holding periods for 10-20 minutes between each aspect of the process and being at the dealership for around 2 hours, we were frustrated that they didn't value our time or business. I've been doing business with Thorobred for years. I've purchased new vehicles, had body work, vehicle repairs and routine maintenance completed on my vehicles. In addition, I've purchased auto parts and purchased new vehicles, had body work, vehicle repairs and routine maintenance completed on my vehicles. In addition, I've purchased auto parts and tires for my vehicles. I am always greeted within moments of my arrival, provided shuttle service home (if needed) and treated as though they really want to keep me as a long term customer. I am very open about recommending Thorobred to family, friends and business associates. Over the years I've also noticed they are very active in supporting community and charity events. Needless to say, I am a very satisfied and loyal customer. More

Finally retired and in the middle of restoring my Nova SS. The guys at Thorobred's Parts Department have been a great help with tracking down some oddball parts I've needed, and have even found some parts SS. The guys at Thorobred's Parts Department have been a great help with tracking down some oddball parts I've needed, and have even found some parts that list as discontinued, but they still manage to round them up. There is also an new GM engines catalog with some trick engine accessories that they can get, . The Dealership also has a charity car show every Autumn, so hopefully this will be the year I'll have her finished up to enter it in! More
