I have always hated buying a car and the sales/finance staff typically involved in these transactions. However, I have to say that my recent purchase of a new Rav4 was the most pleasant buying experience staff typically involved in these transactions. However, I have to say that my recent purchase of a new Rav4 was the most pleasant buying experience I have ever had. Everyone was friendly and accommodating throughout, starting with the internet sales staff to the finance person involved in my purchase. After all of this great customer service, and checking up after the sale to make sure I was still satisfied, I discovered in the next few days that certain features that we take for granted in this day and age were not standard features on my vehicle nor even available as an upgrade. Further, the Toyota website is confusing in this same regard. It states that certain features are available as an upgraded package. However, it does not state, unless it is in the illegible fine print, that the upgraded features must come with the vehicle when purchased and cannot be added or purchased afterwards. Had I known this, I would have custom-ordered the vehicle rather than take the next one to arrive. Further disappointing is that my questions about specific functions have gone unanswered. The dealership gratuitously sent an employee to my home a few days after the sale to show me all of the functions of the vehicle. I really appreciated their offer to do this. However, the person that came out had limited knowledge as to this particular vehicle and could not answer all of my questions. So that visit was pretty much a waste of my time and hers. To date, I have not received a response to the few unanswered questions that I had. I understand that they may not want to give the customer a negative response as to the functions and capabilities of my new vehicle. However, as far as I am concerned, no response is not acceptable. So many of the initial good feelings I had about my buying experience have been diminished by the fact that no one has had the consideration to follow up on the few questions I still had about certain functions of the vehicle. I have wasted enormous amounts of the searching the internet, reviewing the Toyota website and watching you tube videos trying to find the answers to no avail. Toyota needs to update its website as well, and/or remove outdated information that no longer applies to new vehicles. More

Earl Stewart and his dealership have a very highly rated reputation for honesty and transparency, and the few during the six years we’ve lived here.
