Many people seemed to already know or suspect what we just learned: The service department at J. S. Cadillac is top notch but don't buy a vehicle from them, go across the river to ELCO. I'm writing this review on Elco Chevrolet/Cadillac for several key reasons. First, after spending 30 years myself in the consumer goods industry and dealing with front-line consumers, I believe in th for several key reasons. First, after spending 30 years myself in the consumer goods industry and dealing with front-line consumers, I believe in this process of qualitative feedback. Second, when you get a good deal you really want to tell someone about it and while the term deal is subjective, Elco took extremely good care of me on this used car purchase...I feel I got a great deal! In simple terms, I needed a specific vehicle and while not in inventory Jeff Bequette (Sales) searched for one, had it delivered to the dealership and after a short test ride I new this was the vehicle. Jeff also went to bat on my trade-in and solidified the deal for me. He walked me over to the finance department and Bryan Davis asked me a few questions completing the paperwork and I was out and home for dinner in roughly an hour or so. The price of the vehicle was right on, I'd done my homework looking up the value of this vehicle and knowing you are getting the right price is very reassuring and instantly builds credibility. I'm glad to share my experience at Elco, there is so much transparency today in purchasing a new or used vehicle that what you really need to feel is trust when you walk into a dealership. Trust comes from trustworthy people, and that's the difference I felt at Elco. More
