New 2013 Ford Edge My husband and I went to Elliot Ford to buy used vehicles. After driving a 2012 Ford Escape, my husband decided to test drive the new SUVs. Victor was very courteous, professional and conscientious during every step of the transaction. Victor asked us questions about what we wanted and he listened to what we told him. He did not try to talk us into anything, but he was very knowledgeable about the vehicles that we took out for a test drive. Sales people have turned us off in the past by hard sale tactics and we were pleased to not have to deal with that at Elliot Ford in Mt. Pleasant, TX. Victor called to tell us that our plates were ready and met us at the car dealership to put the plates on for us. He answered every question that we had about our new SUV. We really appreciated having him as our sales person and would most definitely recommend to our friends and neighbors. I already did that with a co-worker yesterday. More

Our salesman, Sam, was friendly and professi This experience would have been perfect except when we went to pay the down payment on the car we bought. Our salesman, Sam, was friendly and professional. I liked him! The finance guy (sorry, I don't remember his name) was nice and worked hard to get our papers in order with the payments we wanted. He succeeded! The young lady at the front desk, was very friendly and wanted to make sure we were waited on in a timely fashion and offered us fresh popcorn. We had already closed the deal, and when we told her that, she congratulated us on our new purchase! I liked her too! BUT...then we went to pay our down payment. Wow. When we went to the back, to the girl that was going to take our money, we were met with rolling eyes. I felt we were taking her away from her daydreaming and then when we gave her our credit card, she looked at us and asked, "Does it have a limit?" (Her tone was pretty snotty. Ask the finance guy, I think it embarrassed him. OK, I know some people DON'T know their limit, but she shouldn't assume it won't go through.) I was so offended. My husband was angered. Yea, it has a limit. Most credit cards do. We just bought a 2010 Lincoln MKZ, I think I know what my financial situation is. I would not have used my card if I didn't know what I could charge on it! My husband told her the limit, and I told her to just run it, but it was very offensive that we were even asked! I will still recommend your dealership to anyone looking to buy a car. And we plan on seeing you guys again when my husband needs a new truck, we will ask for Sam. I love my new (used) car and you guys did a great job selling it to me! I just wanted you to know how one person can really put a damper on a GREAT sale! Overall, GREAT JOB GUYS! More
