A Series of Disappointments 1) I had to go get vehicle from Mt. Pleasant (from Longview) for test drive. Original plan was for sales rep to bring to Longview but vehicle was com 1) I had to go get vehicle from Mt. Pleasant (from Longview) for test drive. Original plan was for sales rep to bring to Longview but vehicle was commandeered by another sales rep for a joyride to Love Field. 2) Check engine light was on with codes indicating transmission issues. Vehicle drove fine for >200 miles of test driving. EAG technicians downplayed the seriousness of the codes. 3) Went through with purchase at $10k but 60 miles into the drive to Lafayette LA to deliver to my son, the transmission blew out completely! Limped vehicle to Lafayette where it needed a $3800 transmission job. 4) Called EAG to see if transmission cost can be rolled into a new loan but they (or Ally) or both refused. Will never consider another vehicle purchase from EAG due to incompetence or deceit demonstrated on this sale. if they cannot be trusted on a $10k sale, what will they do for a $60k sale?? Will discourage friends from shopping at EAG. Will get solvent and remove EAG from current car. Does that about cover it all??? More
