The Dyer and Dyer Service Technician, Mercedes, went beyond the call of duty when I had my car serviced at the Dealership. The level of customer care shown was exemplary and refreshing. I am utterly shocked, disappointed and disgusted in the service department! The service manager seems as though he has no control, he just calls everyday (a month now) and sadly tells you that they dont kn service department! TOUCH my car and fix it PLEASE! No loaner car available for me over all this time...i have called Volvo corporate office last week. Today i will have to see who else i can contact in upper management that can help me with this. Dyer and Dyer service department is FAILING MISERABLY at representing Volvo! If you value your time stay far away from Dyer and Dyer. I scheduled an appointment for 10:30. Showed up on time. It was for the 1st 10k maintenance. Should take about an 1 to 1.5 hours. The service rep asked if I wanted to wait or if I'd come back for it. My first mistake was saying I was going to uber and do errands and come back. He then let me know it might be later in the day or possibly the next day; good thing I was going to wait for it right. Never got a call that day. The next day I called 3 times trying to get to the service rep to see if the car was ready. Dyer and Dyer uses a scheduling service so the phone doesn't even ring through to the service department. The best they can do is email the service rep. After leaving 3 messages I just decided to go over around 1PM. When I got there they hadn't even touched the car. So, I got the car back and am now having to take it to a different Volvo dealership. The guy wasn't even apologetic just said they were busy. They use to be so good too. I've been taking previous Volvos there since 2013. More
Run from this dealership as fast as you can. The service department will treat you like absolute trash if / when your Volvo has a service issue. I bought my wife a 2021 Volvo XC90 in November and have had it in the service department twice with issues. We currently have water pouring into our vehicle from the rear view mirror every time it rains. My wife made an appointment weeks ago and upon arriving at the dealership this morning was told it would be hours before they could check out this issue. She requested a loaner car and was told she’d have to come back in late May if she’d like a loaner car while our brand new Volvo is being repaired for the second time in months. The frustrating part was that she was told on the phone that they would evaluate the water intrusion issue as soon as she arrived this morning and if it was going to take more than a day to repair they’d provide a loaner car. Not to mention I’ve owned bMWs and Acura and loaner vehicles are customary at those dealerships. This is absolutely unacceptable. I can guarantee if you’re expecting a luxury car experience, you will not get this at Dyer & Dyer Volvo. More
The facility is spacious and socially-distanced. The service center team is very customer-focused. I feel they care about providing the best they cane during these difficult times with the pandemic. I called Dyer of the ABS/ESC light and the TMS to advise them my car was making a scrubbing sound, and brakes were spongy. I am not sure of the Service Man I spoke to, but he said it would be ok to drive. T them my car was making a scrubbing sound, and brakes were spongy. Raymond advised the part to repair my car was not on-hand. He assured me it would be in the next morning so Dyer sent me home in my car. I pulled into traffic to get into the Center Lane at which time my car bogged down in front of oncoming traffic. I was lucky that my car rolled into the center lane. I was so scared. My car started backup so I pulled back into Dyer. Told Raymond about incident and he said to leave my car. I advised, I lived a hour away and did not have a ride home. I asked for a loaner, but Raymond said they didn’t have a loaner car. I said, I have no way to get home. I need a loaner so Raymond finally found a loaner car. My car was ready the next morning upon my arrival. More
