This morning, I found a "Check Airbag" trouble message. When I showed up at Dyer Chevrolet without an appointment, it was crowded. But within half an hour, they got the Suburban into the shop, a message. When I showed up at Dyer Chevrolet without an appointment, it was crowded. But within half an hour, they got the Suburban into the shop, and found that the airbag was OK. The problem was frayed wires under the seat. Since they quoted me their basic diagnostic charge, I didn't want to spend more money, and I told them I'd fix the wires myself. But when I paid the bill, the mechanic came in and told me he had re-soldered and re-insulated the wires, and added new connectors. Thus, for the basic charge, they did additional work for free. Such great service is VERY RARE these days!! THANK YOU Dyer Chevrolet, and THANK YOU CARL MERRICK! More

It was a great experience purchasing a new car at this dealership. Working with Joe Noach was great. I felt that he understand what we wanted and didn't try to sell us a car that we couldn't afford. We initially got in contact with Dyer through the internet. I had an initial call from Monique and then John G. I told John that I'd be down the following Saturday (yesterday) as I work during the internet. I had an initial call from Monique and then John G. I told John that I'd be down the following Saturday (yesterday) as I work during the week and our grand-daughter was on the way this last week. Later Monique or Angela called back, had us agree on a time on Saturday to see the black 2012 Tahoe Hybrid and have them make a reasonable offer on our special edition 2012 "Black Widow" Silverado that could not be properly quoted over the internet. We were contacted again on Friday to confirm we'd be there Saturday. Everything was supposedly fine. They knew we were making an hour and a half drive from Oviedo, FL to Vero Beach just for this Tahoe Hybrid as they're hard to find in any color and that's what we were looking for. On Saturday we were running a little past time and Angela called again to confirm we were on our way and we were mostly there. After a long drive we got there, found Angela, expecting the only problem to be dickering over the value of the very beautiful Black Widow truck. Instead we get there, my wife runs to the restroom, and Angela sits me down and tells me they just looked for the keys and the truck was gone and their manager that handles transfer of vehicles must have moved the vehicle because at internal employee had been asking about it. My wife walked in and blew her top (though she didn't cuss, but let the girl know this was xx, letting us drive down with nothing for us). We walked out, started our truck, started pulling out, and Doug stopped us. He said "what if we can make it right and find you a Tahoe Hybrid and have it shipped here? What if we could have it delivered to you?" My wife said we'd entertain the possibility, though I had a feeling we'd been set up. We went to get some lunch while they looked. We returned and I was reluctant to as I figured it was xx. At lunch I got in touch with Chevy Corporate and they gave me their list of Tahoe Hybrids remaining and locations. I kept this knowledge as backup information, knowing that there were three Hybrids, the closest being Fort Pierce down the road. We walked in and one of the guys said "Let me pull that Tahoe around for you." I said "You found the Hybrid? Great!". He said, "Uh, no. Let me get Angela." She came up, gave me a printout for a White Hybrid and really wasn't interested in talking about selling that to me. She tried bait-and-switch and asked why I might not be interested in a regular Tahoe since they're only 2mpg less than the Hybrid, and what I thought about that. My wife said "No" pissed and I said "xxxx no. I can get those by the dozen back in Orlando or at my normal dealership and I've only been interested in the Hybrid because they're faster and the difference in MPG is much, much more than what's printed." At that point they weren't looking to help us much more and the White Hybrid was 2013 and would be 54k (in other words they were offering no discount). So we left. Well, no thanks to Dyer other than putting us in the wrong place at the right time, I called Schultz Chevrolet in Fort Pierce at 4:50pm, they were closing at 5pm. They stayed open for us to run down there and (no promises) take a look at their Champagne Silver 2013 Hybrid that they went ahead and quoted on the phone at 49k if we were interested. We got there at 5:20pm and we struck a deal we could live with (though they got the truck at a xxxx of a price) and they stayed over to see the sale through and take care of us. Next time I need something hard to find or maybe just because they did everything we asked and I enjoyed working with them I'll take my business to Bill Schultz where we felt we were treated honestly and the sales process was quick and simple. More
