Rude Service Advisor I just bought a ’14 RDX. Stopped by Duval Acura Service on 2/4 and Jovie Quinto came out to the car. I told him that there was a slight buzz when eng I just bought a ’14 RDX. Stopped by Duval Acura Service on 2/4 and Jovie Quinto came out to the car. I told him that there was a slight buzz when engaging my push-to-start button and he immediately asked me to schedule an appointment with a technician. I asked him to at least push/listen to it; it may be operating normally; in which case I would’ve just move on. He actually refused. I was persistent and literally asked him 4 or 5 more times. So he finally belligerently plopped down in the car, jabbed the button while looking at me and blurts out “it sounds good to me”. (Which, I guess means that I didn't need to schedule an appointment). I left. Jovie Quinto, you’re a Service Advisor. In addition to simply scheduling appointments, your job is to advise customers. A question about a push-to-start button shouldn’t cause a customer to never come back to Duval Acura’s Service Department. Rude and unprofessional. I’ll give Cadillac a shot at it in the morning.
