My husband and I leased a new RDX back in October. The experience was fantastic. Roger was the most easy going salesman we've ever encountered. Fast forward to present, after a few months of the RDX we ju experience was fantastic. Roger was the most easy going salesman we've ever encountered. Fast forward to present, after a few months of the RDX we just felt it wasn't a good fit for our busy family of 4. I took a chance and called Roger to see if he could help a Mom out? Roger came through with an awesome deal to get us in a bigger vehicle. He was fast, efficient and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I truly felt he understood my dilemma and my happiness was important to him. I am LOVING my new MDX and Roger/Acura just got a forever customer. PS- If you're coming and have a Willie Jewel's close by, he's favorite sandwich is the "Two Timer", could score you some brownie points. The service at Duval Acura is amazing. Let me start off with I love my Acura MDX with the comfort and handling. The service at Duval Acura is amazing and I want to thank the leadership Let me start off with I love my Acura MDX with the comfort and handling. The service at Duval Acura is amazing and I want to thank the leadership and staff for their professionalism. As an Acura 2015 MDX owner I wanted to pass along (what I believe to be) some very important concerns before buying my next vehicle hopefully another MDX in 2021. I had the opportunity to drive the new 2020 and it rides awesome, has plenty of room but the issues below may distract me from buying a new one. Hopefully the 2021 will be better. It rides great after you disable the shutting down feature. The only problem with disabling it is you have to do it after each start up. There is no permanent disable feature. 1. The NAV System needs updating to be more intuitive and competitive with other manufacturers ex…. Lincoln…. The Lincoln uses a WAZE type program that is extremely intuitive and allows you to avoid long delays on roads. Please do not tell me that using your phone to tie into the Nav system is the answer because that is so crazy. If I wanted to find other things on my phone while tied to the vehicle, I would have to disable it from the car… Again, crazy. 2. The feature that shuts the car down while stopped is to me totally unsafe, noisy and possibly maintenance costly. When the car keeps shutting off and on there are components in the car that are working more often than not and to me that only makes sense. WHY do that and please do not tell me about saving gas or emissions if, you are worried about that then buy a Hybrid…..First of all if you can afford that car you can afford gas and second with modern technology there has to be a better way to control emissions other than to shut the car off and on. When this first occurred, I got nervous and thought there was something wrong with the vehicle until I talked to my service rep. It also almost got me in an accident when I was at a stop and then tried to excel to get out onto the highway. 3. Put an app on the phone like other manufactures to allow you to start your vehicle anywhere and to do other things. 4. Instead of fixing things that are not broke (shutting the vehicle down when stopped) spend the time to make it look Awesome, and fix the Nav System, put a visual on the dash board to show you when you have your cruise control on what speed you are going instead of guessing, and putting an app on the phone..… 5. My personal opinion would be to screen a variety of people that own an Acura and sit them in a room for them to help you with feedback and a better design. Just my opinion. I am just trying to help Acura create the best car out there and if you do not want my feedback please let me know. I know I am not the only one that feels this way. I will have no problems sharing my concerns with people buying an Acura if that’s the crazy way you choose to build a vehicle. I will be buying a new car (maybe 2 if the price is right) at the end of the year or early next year. Lincoln Nautilus ….Cadillac XT5,6 or the Acura MDX. Thanks for your time and cooperation….
