WHAT??.. service manager call me at 2.30pm found Defect audio module and waiting for extended warranty approval. I DON'T THINK TRAINED FORD MECHANIC TOOK 6.5 HRS TO FIGURE OUT DEF AUDIO MODULE FOR NO SOUND ISSUE.? these service managers think i am an idiot. anyway no further update as of 4.pm and called dealer again and service manager said pickup the car and still waiting for extended warranty approval... after 3 days no updates again and called dealer and found out Insurance has been approved and they already ordered the parts. WHY THESE SERVICE MANAGER DON'T CALL CUSTOMER FOR UPDATES?? poor poor service.!!!. Took almost 1 week to get the part and went to dealer and stayed at waiting room because estimate repair time was about 1 hr. after 2 hrs waiting service manager said found more problems and don't know how long more will be so took us home with dealer taxi service. receive call from service manager 4 pm to pick up car and they close 5 pm. I requested dealer taxi because I can not get the ride that fast in 1 hr. we got to Dealer 4.45 pm and no service manager was there. went to cashier and paid ,got my key and left. IT SEEMS PRETTY CLEAR THESE SERVICE MANAGERS ARE NEGLECTING WARRANTY SERVICE CUSTOMER. I WILL TRY TOM PECK FORD NEXT VISIT. More

I worked with Brent Enger he was professional and did the best he could but his management's lack of professionalism is too much to ignore. On July 25th I purchased a vehicle that was supposed to have been best he could but his management's lack of professionalism is too much to ignore. On July 25th I purchased a vehicle that was supposed to have been through an inspection by their certified mechanics (not a certified vehicle). After driving the vehicle home severe roof damage was found, it was obvious that this body damage had been there for quite some time due to the oxidation where the paint was missing. I contacted Brent with Dundee Ford and it took him a week to get back to me (he said it was due to family issues) but in reality, the only reason he was calling was that he wanted an updated insurance card with the VIN listed. When questioned about the damage he said he had talked with his manager and there is nothing they can do about the damage and then he tried explaining to me that his Manager said "it is reasonable that his mechanics missed the damage because its a tall vehicle." I'm normally very easy going but this is 100% unacceptable on a 27k vehicle More

We had a unique circumstance involving purchasing a new car for my Active Duty brother in another state and they didn't even bat an eye jumping through all the hoops to make the deal work on top of beating EVERY other dealer in the area on our trade and new car discount. From a police, nurse and active duty military family they are probably the most honest dealer we have ever had the pleasure to do business with and amazing customer service from the start. I was informed be the receptionist that bring it in on Saturday, They will fix it in few hours. I did not believe that, so I stop on Saturday at the dealer so I could talked with them and they can write it up. I left my truck at the Dundee Ford on Sunday night, so the boys can have a geed,Monday morning start. I wrote the night drop envelope and went home. After all, there is noting to worry about. I took it to the finest. At 9am I get the call from the “advisor” Tom, to inform me the it will be $700 to fix it, (they have to take the dashboard apart) OK, do it. At 1600 hr, I get a call from my “advisor” that they have to dig “deeper”To fix it and they must take more of the dashboard apart. That will be another $700 bacarus. I said, NO. I want my truck back. Tom suggested to see what he can do for me and he will call me back. Few minutes later, price dropped by $300. So now is $1200.00 and another day at the dealer. Picked up the truck on Tuesday night and guess what, fan is still stuck as I told them to fix it. Left my truck there Tuesday night. Wednesday morning got call from Tom, the “advisor”, at 10 am , that it will be on other $140 to fix it, they have to take the dashboard apart again but, this time they will NOT charge me for it, just parts. At 1 pm, Tom call me that I can pick-up my truck. They got me for $1,350 from the original try for $1,400, after all, they are the professionals. I’m just a guy with a truck. Do your self a favor, do not go to Dundee Ford, shop around. I found out that Dundee Ford is not a respectable Ford dealership but a bunch of con artists and crooks. Never again I will go to Dundee Ford and I strongly recommend to you to not to go to Dundee Ford in East Dundee. Thank you, Janusz. More
STAY AWAY FROM THE LIARS AT DUNDEE FORD STAY AWAY! This dealership is nothing but a bunch of liars that will say and do anything to get that signature. I bought a 2015 ford edge sport last i STAY AWAY! This dealership is nothing but a bunch of liars that will say and do anything to get that signature. I bought a 2015 ford edge sport last in November of 2018. I was lied too multiple times about the extended warranty plan in which i thought i got. I had to call Ford Corporate to get a refund. Do not get a FORD from this dealership. Too add to my already horrible buy experience! Recently I went to the ford dealership (not Dundee) one which was closer to my house and had them repair my rims which where all peeling from the factory paint. When I bought the car I paid for the added rim protection plan that at the time Dundee told me covered “everything” even peeling paint. Well! Guess what that was another lie. So I had to pay out of pocket to get my rims fixed, the service manager at Fox Ford told me the added rim protection plan I bought at Dundee was a scam and to get your money back. After multiple phone calls and VM left to Dundee, I finally got a hold of the service manager who told me I can’t get my money back because it’s a 3rd who has the contract. Unbelievable! The lack of moral and ethics that this dealership has, has yet to amaze me. I called ford corporate and filed another complaint on the dealership! I can’t stress enough, STAY AWAY FROM DUNDEE FORD. Plenty of other respectable ford dealership in the area. Looking forward to getting an automotive response from the “manager” on this google review claiming they are concerned and would like to speak to me. Such a formality it makes me sick. More
Good start - Poor ending Day 1 - Set up an appointment to check out a pre-owned Mustang. Arrived at Dealership & was greeted by a salesman who showed me the car & went for a t Day 1 - Set up an appointment to check out a pre-owned Mustang. Arrived at Dealership & was greeted by a salesman who showed me the car & went for a test drive. We eventually negotiate a fair price on the Mustang & a good price on my trade-in. The sales Manager wanted to immediately close the deal & take the car home. After a discussion we agreed I would come back the following morning at 10:15. I was promised the car would be cleaned & ready for delivery. Day 2 - Arrived at 10:00. The Mustang was still sitting in the lot with Dealer sales tags still on the car an obviously hadn't been cleaned. While waiting for the car to be cleaned the salesman wanted us to sign over the title of our trade-in & write a check without even seeing a bill of sale & price details. The salesman also had issues completing computer generated forms. We got close to walking away. The Finance Manager finally came over (around 11:15) with the proper forms & we completed the transaction. The salesman was gone & we assumed he was getting the Mustang ready. No so. The plates hadn't been transferred to the Mustang. We were then told they didn't have a front license plate bracket & suggested we drive the car home without the front plate & come back later when the bracket arrived. Front & rear plates are required in Illinois & we were not going to chance getting stopped & ticketed. Service finally located a bracket. The car was pulled to the side of the showroom where we waited wondering if we were done. It was now 12:30. The salesman was nowhere to be found. We decided to leave but found the car did not have a full tank of gas as promised. Another delay. The overall experience was terrible & customer service was poor at best. We were basically ignored after the payment transaction was completed. Yes, the Finance Manager spoke to us for a few moments & the Sales Manager shook my hand. Not even an apology for the delay. Not even an offer of coffee or water. We finally left the Dealership at around 1:15. They certainly need to improve customer relations. Day 8 - No follow up call or email asking about the car. We also did not get an Owners manual as promised. Buyer beware. Even though I checked the car carefully it was found that a small section of the left 1/4 panel had been repainted. My local body repair shop said it appeared to be minor. Unknown if the dealership knew. More
