Went thru Sams Club auto buyers and was sent directly to True Car. I was looking for a Ford Maverick. I was promised to pay window sticker price back in December 2021. Five months later they called and w True Car. I was looking for a Ford Maverick. I was promised to pay window sticker price back in December 2021. Five months later they called and was told Maverick was being scheduled for May or June 2022. I went in to sign price agreement and the price was 4 thousand more that sticker. I was told in Dec. by salesman and manager I would only pay sticker price because I went with TruCar. The manager said Ford raised the price to the dealer and was passed onto me. I called Ford and was told if a customer ordered the the vehicle, the price would not increase to dealership. I also was told the vehicle was not scheduled to production till June 25th. then extra time for shipping. This is a scam by the dealer to get cars to sell from stock at a large mark up. The only way they could get stock is to have a customer order one. At least I got my 100 dollar deposit back. I can't believe this dealer is still in business and Ford couldn't help. A valuable lesson learned. Get price in writing before ordering. More
On March 5, 2022 I purchased a used Ford Edge from Dundee Ford. I love the the car. HOWEVER - one must be an educated consumer here, the finance crew will take advantage of you every opportunity they hav Ford. I love the the car. HOWEVER - one must be an educated consumer here, the finance crew will take advantage of you every opportunity they have. When I sat down with the salesman, we discussed financing briefly. I told him I had already applied with Ford Motor Credit and had an application number for them. I also told the finance person (Vince). When they ran my credit, they told me that Ford was 1% higher than the bank they offered. I had also specifically stated that I would NOT work with Santander finance. I worked with Vince on the weekend - he told me that 1) I HAD to purchase GAP insurance before I left the dealership. NOT TRUE! GAP is an add on that is COMPLETELY optional and one can purchase it from many other sources. A local credit union offers it for $445, significantly less than the $995 they charged. 2) They gave me a very good price for my trade in, yes, but then tacked the payoff balance (under $2000) back on my loan! We discussed how this used to be a common practice, but, is now considered illegal. And yet, THERE it is!! 3) There is a charge for the vin etch service - which was already on the vehicle when it was purchased by the dealership - they did not do it there. Also, I was told there is a interior protection package on the Edge, however, I can find no evidence of that. Overall, I do not think that the dealership really knew what options the vehicle had. They had also made a mistake on the mileage of my trade in on the odometer form - which they corrected, however, the color of the vehicle is still incorrect. The pinnacle of this experience is that on the Monday, I received a call requesting that I unlock my Experian credit freeze. Dan, in finance was trying to get me a better rate. That was when I reviewed the messages from my Experian Credit monitoring and found out that they ran 6 inquiries, NONE OF THEM for Ford Motor Credit and the FIRST bank than inquired on was Santander!! They did run the Ford Credit inquiry - on TUESDAY! (after the 3 day period where I could have revoked the contract) DAN never did return my calls for a variety of reasons. Guessing he "couldn't get a better rate". Very disappointed in that whole experience. Would NOT recommend this dealership for those significant reasons. More
This dealership is shady and insulting. Asking a premium of $18,000 over sticker on a vehicle, then offering $12,000 less than the lowest amount of book value on a 2019 Raptor with less than 30K miles. Sha of $18,000 over sticker on a vehicle, then offering $12,000 less than the lowest amount of book value on a 2019 Raptor with less than 30K miles. Shady and money hungry, you cannot trust them. Their one and only goal is to make as much money as they possibly can. They do not care about their customers as long as they can make money. Do not trust them with your business or your money. More

I ordered a maverick on line went to this dealership and was told there was no upcharge on a vehicle that was ordered on line due to it being a new vehicle on the market. When I went in to do the paperwork was told there was no upcharge on a vehicle that was ordered on line due to it being a new vehicle on the market. When I went in to do the paperwork fir my new maverick I was told that they added 2000 on to the msrp. I told the salesman that my msrp wa a certain price and I was told they had the right to up charge. I was also told take it or leave it. This dealership is very sneaky. The finance department tried real hard pushing me to buy an extended warranty and when I told them no 4 times they seem to get a attitude with me. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. I am filing complaints with the BBB on dundee ford. I am also working with ford directly. More
After purchasing a used vehicle, it took 2.5 months to send me the documents to license and register the car. I had to call 3x just to have the proper documentation sent. On top of that, they incorrec send me the documents to license and register the car. I had to call 3x just to have the proper documentation sent. On top of that, they incorrectly charged me for IL sales tax. When following up with them about the error, they were unresponsive, rude, and utterly unpleasant when it came to issuing a refund. Most shocking was their finance manager hung up on me when I called and didn't answer any of my emails. After calling his manager, he managed to reply 17 days later. Finally, they charged me $450 for license and registration but didn't register or license the car on my behalf. Buyer beware. Their customer service is shocking and they most certainly are either purposely ripping people off or they are incompetent at their jobs. More
