Half Way Decent Dealership Went in and looked at 2 vehicles (Grand Cherokee Trail Hawk and the Rubicon Recon) and I do Applause our sales guy's patience (it was taking me a whil Went in and looked at 2 vehicles (Grand Cherokee Trail Hawk and the Rubicon Recon) and I do Applause our sales guy's patience (it was taking me a while to make a decision). Guy was new so he wasn't to knowledgeable about the vehicles and couldn't really offer much input. After making my decision on the Rubicon Recon that was just freshly brought in and not even inspected yet they made great effort to get it inspected (except for the part where coordination was poor on the location of the vehicle Keys... took them 30 or so mins to hunt for them). Contacted me back fairly quick that the vehicle was inspected and ready for test driving. After going on another test drive i fell in love with the recon so we went back to talk numbers. Pricing was at an ok margin but they were not willing to accept my offer for the vehicle in which I went to Lindsay Jeep in Manassas and offered them the same amount and was accepted fairly quickly by the manager and I left the same day with a higher model Jeep with More features than the one that was being sold at Dulles with them rejecting my fair offer. All in all I believe that Dulles Jeep doesn't normally sell for too low of a price due to its location (leesburg which is filled with generally richer people and executives that normally like to pay MSRP) so I was not to upset that they declined my offer knowing the overall population and I had managed my expectations. So TIP of the day is to go to Lindsay Jeep where you can get a higher model vehicle for the same price as Dulles slightly lower model vehicles unless you like paying very close to MSRP. More
