2500 warranty review Recently wife and i had a concern about our 2500 ruff idle issue. Wife called service department to schedule a appointment. She spoke with the servic Recently wife and i had a concern about our 2500 ruff idle issue. Wife called service department to schedule a appointment. She spoke with the service adviser about the conern with ruff idle. In just the first minutes of the call the service advisor was talking us out of bringing the truck in for service. Examples well if it had a ruff idle there would be a check engine light on. It would miss under a load. Thats the idle it has normal condition. Then well it will be a few days before we can get you in. We did get the truck in for the concern a few days later. Dropped it off at dealership monday evening . Received a rental was a bonus got in the rental fuel light on the dash less then couple gallons gas in tank. Drove across street to fill up just to get 5 minutes home. We left several contact numbers. The next afternoon still haven't herd from dealership around 4.30 pm. We called said they were busy and would call us back. Waited for a return call none that day. We drove by dealership that night and noticed the truck was still parked in the same spot never moved that day. The next day around 1pm said the truck was ready. We found no codes its ready. When we picked up truck was after hours and when we got in out truck the plastic seat cover ans paper mats and the service number card was all throwed in drivers floorboard, so wife stood in pouring rain cleaned trash out before she could get in the truck. I test drove the car one day and it only took 1 hour to sign all the paperwork and I was driving the next day. It was very low pressure, they presented me with all the options available and simply let me decide. The 6 free oil changes, free LIFETIME state inspections, and free towing within 50 miles if ever needed is a great bonus. Loved the Experience!!! More
