My husband and I purchased a 2011 cadillac srx on June 18 2011. We worked with Jerry Butler on the purchase of this vehicle. He was very knowledgable about the vehicle and the dealership did not have the S 2011. We worked with Jerry Butler on the purchase of this vehicle. He was very knowledgable about the vehicle and the dealership did not have the SRx that we were looking for but Jerry was able to locate the SRX at another dealership and arranged for transfer to Duke Automotive. After the SRX was transferred to Duke Automotive there was no pressure from Jerry to purchase the vehicle. Jerry answered all of our questions and provided us with the cost of the vehicle. We decided to purchase the vehicle on Wednesday and made arrangements with Jerry to complete the transaction on Saturday June 18th. Eley Duke completed the paperwork for the SRX purchase. He explained and answered all questions about the total cost and financing of the vehicle. Jerry explained all the bells and whistles of the vehicle and ask us to call or come back if we had any questions or problems. It was a great experience at Duke Automotive as always. This was a great car buying experience. Stan was friendly, knows the product well and was able to explain how everything works very effectively without overwhelming me. When I asked for a price for my trade in and the fair price for the vehicle both me and my husband felt we were given very good prices for both without any of the usual car dealer games at all. I am totally impressed !! I bought a beautiful Cadillac CTS and am very pleased with the entire experience. I would recommend Duke to all my friends and to whoever reads this. More
Scott Higbie was fabulous. He was very professional and extremely helpful with everything that I asked (being a woman who doesn't know much about cars and feels like we might get "messed around with) he ex extremely helpful with everything that I asked (being a woman who doesn't know much about cars and feels like we might get "messed around with) he explained everything in the way a woman like myself could understand. He gave quotes before doing any work, he gave helpful tips for things that I asked him, he was very thorough in letting me know exactly what was going on and when and why. We take our car to Duke for two of our cars. Before Scott, we didn't have the best luck sometimes (being honest here). I was actually nervous bringing the car back to Duke. I'm VERY fortunate to have had Scott as my Agent helping me. He helped give me confidence back in Duke and its services to keep coming back when I need to again in the future. Couldn't ask for any more help than they give when making a big purchase and an im professional and knowledgeable about their products and services. I am disabled vet, and most place I go people look at the way I walk. And seems to be afraid to approach me. But Paul a dealer at Duke Automotive did approach me, and ask if he can help me. I told him I am just looking, and my brother thought I should see if I can get in a vehicle I was interested in, with my disablity. Now Paul knowing I was not ready to buy at that time, still decided to help me. He was so nice that he even pulled vehicles I liked over to me to try to get in. I did buy a 2011 Buick Regal, a year after. I remember Paul, for all the help he offer me, and I knew I would go back and deal with him. I have worked with Scott Higbie, service advisor at Duke Automotive in Suffolk, VA for over 5 years and during that time I have been very satisfied with the service of my Suburban. Scott is always accommod Automotive in Suffolk, VA for over 5 years and during that time I have been very satisfied with the service of my Suburban. Scott is always accommodating to my schedule and the work is always completed timing. Duke has a shuttle service which takes me to and from my office which is very important to me. The driver Fred and I have come to know each other well and I enjoy the ride with him. Fred is always very polite and has gone out of his way to pick me up and get me back to the dealership before closing. Scott and the service team at Duke are always extremely polite and go out of their way to find discounts for me to save on my service. Scott has also been willing to complete every service I have asked for including washing, waxing and detailing my truck. This is all completed in one day during my other services. Overall the service at Duke has been convenient, courteous, professional and always satisfying. Because of this excellent service, Duke Automotive will be the first place I go to when I need to replace my Suburban. More
