I have dealt with Duke Automotive for years. Not only do I get all of my vehicles from Duke, but I also have them serviced at the Duke Automotive Service Center. I always ask for Scott when I am scheduling service. If he is away from his phone, he always calls back promptly. He is friendly, courteous, and efficient. My vehicle is serviced as requested, and ready when promised. In fact, all of the employees in the service center are like family. The waiting room is clean, and stocked with soft drinks, coffee, water, snacks, and donuts - all offered free as a courtesy to customers. I have been to so-called speedy service centers, and have contended with rounded-off oil plugs, filthy waiting rooms, and waits almost twice as long as promised. Give me Duke Automotive, Suffolk, VA. Went in to schedule some maintenance and warranty work. Scott ordered the parts and called us when they came in, told us when to come and what they'd be doing. Seamless. Showed up. He even walked me to my truck with his umbrella as I was leaving, since it was raining fairly hard outside. What a guy! We go to many dealers across this country, as we travel ALOT. By far, the best car buying experience I've ever had, and having bought five cars over the last nine years, I have plenty of experience. Jim, the salesman, was a genuine pleasure to work with as he was friendly, but not in a fake or "slick" salesperson way. He was informative but not overbearing and easy to talk to. The price quoted to me on a 2011 Silverado was by far the best, easily beating the local mega-dealers, and was their best price upfront. None of the silly games of making you wait endlessly while they talk it over with the sales manager - just the best price. Period. After researching the vehicle and checking with many dealers (again, none of them came close on the price), I finally decided to buy the truck. I called Jim ahead of time and told him I would come by but didn't have much time. Once I arrived at the dealership, I had completed the purchase and was driving away in my new truck in less than about 45 MINUTES. Unbelievable. I've never had such as easy time finalizing the stacks of paperwork associated with buying a new vehicle. And, the 45 minutes included an orientation of the new vehicle and a tour of the service department. Overall, a phenomenal experience - I never thought I'd say that about buying a car, but it is true. I saw a car on their website that I was interested in. I called to let them know I was on my way and when I arrived the car was pulled up front for me.
