My experience at Duke Automotive was excellent. Al Hicks was professional, and very helpful. The night I went to Duke I tested 5 cars, and Mr. Hicks did not loose his smile, patients and friendliness. My husband was a persistent visitor at Duke getting Al Hicks to write out several contracts on different cars. Finally, Duke left a large friendly message in my 2013 Encore. I was recently faced with having to make my first car purchase. Needless to say, I felt out of my comfort zone thinking about the car buying process. But what at first seemed like a daunting and nerve- purchase. Needless to say, I felt out of my comfort zone thinking about the car buying process. But what at first seemed like a daunting and nerve-racking task was made very enjoyable with the help of the Duke Automotive team. Stan Bell was a great help. He listened to what I was looking for, and showed me every vehicle that he thought might suit my needs and budget. Stan never pressured me into looking at higher option package, nor did he pressure me into buying a car. Stan was very knowledgeable about every car I looked at, from the mechanical specs to the environmental impact to the entertainment packages. Overall, a great individual to work with. I also dealt with Bob Blythe and Don Kelly. They also couldn't have been any nicer. Don informed me of all the extras that could be purchased, but never pressured me or second guessed me when I told him I was not interested in a specific feature. Overall, I can't think of finer folks from whom to purchase a car. I highly recommend them all. This first timer will certainly be returning to Duke Automotive in the future as long as Duke keeps individuals like this around. More

This car buying experience was unlike any other I have experienced in my lifetime. Due to my circumstances at home, Lydia had everything brought to me at my home. I told her I was interested in the Lacrosse and the Enclave. First, she sent Bruce Blythe with a Buick Lacrosse for me to test drive and he appraised the vehicles I was trading in. A few days later, Lydia brought a Buick Enclave for me to try. I decided the Enclave better suited my needs to transport my husband who is handicapped. Then she had Jerry Butler contact me to work out all the particulars as to colors and options. He listened intently as I expressed what my needs were and what I wanted in a vehicle. In no time he had located the exact vehicle I requested. I ordinarily would have wanted to negotiate on the price, but I felt he offered such a fair price it didn't seem necessary. He had it cleaned up and delivered it to my house on a Saturday morning. He completed all the paperwork, had my tags transferred and my insurance taken care of. He went over all the particulars of the vehicle, set up my OnStar, and paired my cell phone. I am very happy that I chose such a nice "family" with my decision. Everything about this experience was positive and I am very happy with my new Enclave and my new friends at Duke Automotive I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. More
We purchased a Cadillac XTS after a 3 month search that included test driving vehicles from 6+ different dealerships/manufacturers. We settled on the XTS and Duke Automotive because the we didn't feel pressured. Heather answered all our questions and worked with us to get the exact features we wanted. Even though we have a Cadillac dealer much closer to us on the Peninsula, we settled on Duke because they provide better customer service (based on previous experiences with Suttle). So far every contact we made with Duke was a good one - this includes Christy, Heather, Bruce, Don and Eley. Even the final paperwork signing with Don was a satisfying experience - (based on the previous purchase of 3 new vehicles) we found that usually the finance person was the pushiest and somewhat rude, not true at Duke. This was definitely the best car buying experience we ever had hands down. More
My husband & I just returned from buying a new Buick Enclave from Stan Bell. After having dealt with Duke for our last three auto purchases within our family, we knew that we would be getting an excelle Enclave from Stan Bell. After having dealt with Duke for our last three auto purchases within our family, we knew that we would be getting an excellent deal along with patient, non-pushy treatment. All of my questions were answered; we were allowed to take our time driving two different models and we NEVER felt pressured to "make a hurried decision because this one won't last!!!" I love dealing with the Duke team for my buying and service needs. Stan is a jewel & we enjoy working with him. More
I have known Stan Bell and Bruce Blythe for many years, long before they came to work at Duke, and have always found them to be friendly, honest and above board in all their business dealings. Over the years, I have bought several vehicles from Duke. Among the reasons for my return visits is the relationship I feel I've developed with Stan, Bruce and all Duke employees (including Scott, Ashley and Tiffany in the service dept.). I also like the idea of being able to do business with a hometown establishment. My recent purchase was handled without any high pressure tactics such as constant telephone calls and attempts to sell me something I was not interested in. I hope these employees are well-compensated for their work, or at least publicly recognized for their high level of professionalism. They are all true assets to your company. Greg Brown Suffolk More

He doesn't stop with just car sales, but he goes above and beyond his job with wishing my family and I ha Mr Al Hicks who is PHENOMENAL at his job!!! He doesn't stop with just car sales, but he goes above and beyond his job with wishing my family and I happy birthdays, happy holidays, and any accomplishment that we might achieve. He started as my car salesman but has become a great friend of the family. I even reconmended him to my mother who has come looking for a car from out of town and raved about the professionalism of Mr. Al Hicks and staff. I was so blown away by his service with my purchase last year December 6 that I came back and made a second purchase January 29, 2013. This was my second car purchase on my own without any assistance and the information and service I recieved was as a father helping his daughter buy her first car each time.
