I never needed much work done on the STi, but always found their service guys--Mike and Steve--to be fantastic to work with. The best dealer service team I've worked with. In part based upon my positive experience with the service guys, I was very interested in buying a new Subaru from them. During the whole process, their internet sales manager, Dan, worked very hard to help me get whatever I needed. He never pressured me, or tried to intimidate me into making a quick decision. Early in the process, when he gently told me that a 2013 Outback with low miles that I had test-driven would probably go quickly, I probably tuned even that comment out because I might have considered it marketing speak. Indeed, I test drove it on a Saturday, and the car sold on Monday. It was my bad luck! So, I bought a new one from him, and the car came in just earlier than the schedule he had originally predicted. He's followed up with me at least a couple of dozen times during the process, and I've really appreciated it. The Subaru experience has been so positive for me, that I talked my retired mother into trading in her Toyota Camry and getting a new Outback. I called over 40 dealerships for her, mostly in the northeast, and though many of them were very congenial and good to work with, many were rather difficult--and none of them were as even-keeled as the guys at DuTeau. Dan and Eric in sales, Matt the business manager, Steve I've had the pleasure of working with many of the staff at Duteau over the past several years. Dan and Eric in sales, Matt the business manager, Steve and Mike in service, and Nicole the receptionist. All go out of their way to make you feel welcome, wanted, and respected. It's how you want to be treated. Having purchased several (ok, four) vehicles from them, some off the lot, some 500 miles away, they asked, they listened, and they delivered. They were out to sell the car not the brand. There was no passion about the sale or experience. Making that trek to Lincoln was the best thing we did. Dan and the entire staff at DuTeau went out of their way to make our experience smooth. We have had the pleasure of purchasing and maintaining several Subaru vehicles at DuTeau with EXCELLENT service all around! They are practically part of our family. We will continue to purchase and refer anyone we can to DuTeau. More
There are not enough good things I can say regarding this dealership! From the beginning, Phil Robinson went out of his way to help me find the right car that I needed, and I mean he worked with me for HOUR dealership! From the beginning, Phil Robinson went out of his way to help me find the right car that I needed, and I mean he worked with me for HOURS! I ended up buying a 2009 Honda Accord with very low miles, and was given a great price on my trade-in. After I had the car one month, problems popped up. Instead of making excuses, Mr. Alan Becker has been working with the local Honda Dealership to get this car repaired, and has even offered to let me have another car if this problem is not resolved to my satisfaction! The moral of this story is that there are employees and dealerships that do the minimum to get your business, and then there are EXCEPTIONAL dealerships like Duteau, who not only treat you right, but continue to go above and beyond the call of duty to satisfy and please the customer!! I will be buying ALL of my cars from them!! More
