Stan, It looks as if you visited our dealership all the way back in October, and I'm told you spoke to the Service Director extensively when you were here. We never ever said to you "that's the best we can do, your on your own". In reality, the conversation that was had with you went like this, "Sir, your frame is rusted so badly on your vehicle, that we can not weld it any better at this time without performing quite a bit more work, and replacing a portion of your frame with new metal and a new weld; if you are unwilling to sign off on the charges to perform the extra work, then this weld is currently the only way it can be welded." Your vehicle has a quarter million miles on it, and it was not your gas tank, or your gas tank straps that had any issues, it was your frame specifically. Because it was the frame, your extended warranty company did not cover the repairs, and you did not want to spend any extra money out of your pocket on the repair. I can't speak for whatever Ziegler is telling you but I can absolutely confirm that I am looking at an e mail between our dealership and Chrysler corporate where your repair coverage was declined. If Zieglar is somehow now telling you they got it covered, then I won't pretend to have an answer on how that is, but I can assure you, there was no wrong doing on our part. Lisa, both the Service Director and I have called you multiple times, please return our call ASAP. I'm not sure where the confusion is here, but I'd like to clear it up. You were handed an estimate for $900 that clearly stated ESTIMATE all over it so that you knew what it was. This estimate you were provided is the proper estimate that is recommended by the manufacturer at 30,000 miles, I'm not sure why you are upset with us, but I'd like to discuss it with you. Nick, you left a message on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 and again this morning Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Your complaining that I had not responded after "multiple" calls which in fact it was "two". I had responded to you personally via email as soon as I received the voicemail from you today. I made it clear that I would rather not have a 6th conversation that would clearly disregard the issues or make excuses for such. Obviously you did not truly "hear" my complaint considering that I clearly stated that the 900.00 estimate was for the manufacturer recommended 30k service BUT that this was indicated AFTER waiting for hours, being taken advantage of to have service done that should not have needed it (or clearly been covered under manufacturer warranty), which just ADDED to the frustration throughout the morning. There was obviously no "confusion" on Sandy's end when we discussed the issues in depth on 12/22/17 and she said that the director of service would call me to address. Did I get a call from you? Yes......... AFTER Sandy left me another voicemail (on 12/27/17) asking how my service was; as if the 12/22/17 conversation never occurred? I then heard from you on January 2, 2018 and today. I have NEVER written a negative review on anyone and always have given the benefit of the doubt or the opportunity for resolution, but you guys blew it here. Don't turn this around to be the customers fault!
