What a nightmare. After previously leasing a car from DuPage Jeep, I returned after repeated texts, calls and letters regarding loyalty incentives for lease returners. 1.) Complete bait and switch. They do not honor the offers they publish nor the offers Jeep publishes. They could care less about loyal customers. 2.) They are not transparent with the numbers they present, refusing to break them down to show what APR / tax/ fees are being used. Do the math folks and you will find plenty of unaccounted dollars. 3.) The “dupage price” that they list on their website can be THOUSANDS above MSRP… watch your back, it’s a special Dupage price alright, to get totally Dupag-ed aka ripped off. 4.) Be warned, they will throw in thousands of dollars of “dealer add ons” in the fine print and refuse to remove them, if you happen to catch them being included. Things like car washes and tire insurance and additional theft devices …. to the tune of $6K. This is a ploy to increase their margin. Drove to another dealer down the road and had transparent numbers with honored incentives within 30 minutes of walking in. Steer clear of Dupage at all costs. More
