Pleasantly surprised I was looking for a specific used luxury car and had done extensive research on market value and what I could expect to pay at local dealerships. I h I was looking for a specific used luxury car and had done extensive research on market value and what I could expect to pay at local dealerships. I had whittled it down to two cars at new car dealerships, and then saw another option at Driven. However, I was extremely hesitant to give a used car dealer a chance as I have only ever bought from franchise dealers. Just for the heck of it we went over and gave it a test drive. Everyone at Driven was very nice, and they were quick to furnish the Carfax report and VIN so I could do a check on the remaining warranty coverage and the vehicle's history. The next day I brought all three cars to my mechanic to be checked out, and Driven was agreeable to this. My mechanic ruled out one car and made recommendations for repairs to be made on the remaining two. I went back to the two dealers, one being Driven, cited repairs needed and made an offer. Of the two, Driven was the most willing to negotiate with me, and via their on-site service department, they resolved the outstanding issues that my mechanic found to my full satisfaction. I felt I got a good value at Driven, and I will visit them again as they have changed my mind about used car merchants. More

Fantastic Service and Quality Vehicles Driven Auto Sales has some of the best used cars in Chicago. After researching the shop extensively, I came in to purchase a vehicle. Being very young Driven Auto Sales has some of the best used cars in Chicago. After researching the shop extensively, I came in to purchase a vehicle. Being very young and having had very little credit built, I was in a tough position. Salesperson Ali worked with until we could find a vehicle that I was both comfortable in and comfortable with paying for. After some hour of working, we found that vehicle which was a 2011 Buick Regal. The customer service has been fantastic. I have been able to reach driven auto with any questions since I bought the car and everything was fully explained prior to purchasing the car. They maintained good communication while still be quick and responsive which showed that they valued our time. The buying process was not overly confusing. They was NO bait and switch or false information about the deal. Everything was up front. The shop does repair vehicles that may need a touch up and I found that to be true with my Regal. It came to me in fantastic condition with very minimum scuffs or issues and everything works as advertised. The facility is well maintained and holds some of the best used cars in Chicago. I enjoy my 2011 Buick Regal and feel safe driving in it. At the end of the week after purchasing it, I had a shop take a look at it and they reported that the car was factually in fine working condition. In your search for a used vehicle, please keep Driven Auto Sales in your options as they have fantastic cars at fantastic prices! More

Read This Before Buying from Driven Auto Sales I had been looking for an older BMW for about 6 months when I found a 2000 BMW 740i for sale online at Driven Auto Sales. I was located 300 miles away I had been looking for an older BMW for about 6 months when I found a 2000 BMW 740i for sale online at Driven Auto Sales. I was located 300 miles away in St. Louis but after a handful of phone calls I was assured by the salesman that the car was in great shape and everything worked. They told me they did a timing chain replacement on the car which upon further research is not uncommon to perform once those cars hit 100,000 miles. I was told they warrantee their service work. I drove up there on the morning of August 1, 2015 to purchase the car. Everyone at the dealer “appeared” to be very nice and bragged about how great their customer service was. After driving the car and doing some quick checks, I found the car was out of alignment and the rear passenger window was broken and wouldn’t roll down. With a 15 year old car, I didn’t expect perfection but both items should have been things they told me up front over the phone before I drove all the way up there. I decided to purchase the car. After driving the car home and parking it overnight I found a puddle of oil the size a half of sheet of paper under it. I made an appointment with a local BMW specialty repair garage to have them go through the car and check everything out. They found the hood latch cables were broken at the cost of $375 (Additional repair costs for me). Once they were able to get under the hood they found the oil leak was associated with the gaskets for the timing chain replacement. The estimate to disassemble everything and replace the gaskets is $1250 because of the amount of labor for the repair. I called Driven Auto Sales to speak with either Alex or Bill (both are managers) about the problem and neither returned my call. I called back the next day and tried to talk to Bill about a logical solution. After saying there was no way the car could be leaking oil and that I would have to drive all the way up to Chicago for them to look at it, he told me they were not interested in taking a loss on the car and having it fixed. He told me he would speak with his tech that did the service and call me back right away. He never called me back. The BMW repair garage that did the inspection took detailed pictures and suggested I not let them touch this car again. All I wanted was the car fixed right and I don’t think I should have to pay for it. With an attitude of “were not going to take a loss on that car”, customer service is far from the top of Driven Auto Sales list. Folks, if your thinking about purchasing a car from these people, keep this experience in mind. Don’t let it happen to you! More
