You can tell a lot about a business on how they handle things going wrong, I recently assisted my son with buying a 2015 Hyundai Sonata from Autocenter. Teh sales process was low stress and pricing was things going wrong, I recently assisted my son with buying a 2015 Hyundai Sonata from Autocenter. Teh sales process was low stress and pricing was aggressive. Closing the deal was painless with a great financing rate. They even assisted with getting the car registered with the our of state RI DMV. two days after getting he car in our possession, the engine suffered a catastrophic failure. per the dealerships direction, we had the car towed to the dealership whom had it towed to a local Hyundai dealer the very next business day. It turns out there was an internal component failure on the engine and repairs would take months due to backlog. With no prompting from me, Mo the sales manager indicated that the deal would need to be rescinded. Mo prioritized getting the deal rescinded. and funds were promptly returned. Several days later, Mo also assisted with the necessary paperwork to get RI sales tax refunded. The sales and staff at the dealership were friendly and service oriented. They apologized several times about the situation but there was no early indication that the car had a problem. Hyundai supported the claim there some cars had defects in the engine. This is a smaller used car dealership that showed integrity and customer service even when things went wrong. More

I had a very positive experience here at Auto center sales. The buying process was very easy and smooth, it was stress free. Mo the sales manager was very helpful and easy to work with. I did not have a positive experience purchasing a vehicle here. After selling my vehicle because I was told my new vehicle was ready, only when I was going through the purchase paperwork I was informed t here. After selling my vehicle because I was told my new vehicle was ready, only when I was going through the purchase paperwork I was informed that they did not have the title for my new purchase. Against my better judgement I went forward with the sale. I was promised that if the title took too long they would provide a loaner vehicle. In addition the van I purchased needed a few repairs. When I test drove the van 1 day earlier there were no lights on the dash, but they disclosed the issues when I came to pick it up. One week later I cannot get anyone at Autocenter Sales to commit to providing the loaner or completing the repairs. I’ve called several times and just get passed around or hung up on. I’m going to add that I paid cash for the vehicle in full and am 40 weeks pregnant with 3 other children at home. Not that it’s necessarily relevant to my purchase; but more so because I was an easy customer and its especially inconvenient to be without a vehicle and have to deal with this nonsense right now. More
