DT Toyota of Oakland started out promising, but it all went down hill. I traded in my car to purchase a 2017 Hyundai Tucson and felt like I was getting a good deal until the Financing Mgr adjusted my loan went down hill. I traded in my car to purchase a 2017 Hyundai Tucson and felt like I was getting a good deal until the Financing Mgr adjusted my loan life without telling me as a ploy to get me to buy gap insurance and sold it as “i’ll help you out. How about I include it and your payment won’t go up at all?” I know, my bad for not asking, but now i have a 84 month loan instead of 72. But then when I went to leave, I noticed that the car had ZERO gas in the tank. I barely made it down the block!…only to overhear that the owner of the dealership is so cheap that they don’t put gas in the used cars. Thanks a lot. To top it all off, I got home and gave my boyfriend the spare key. He went to go take the car to get a car wash (because it was FILTHY) and the spare key didn’t work! I called JR the sales manager and he said it belonged to another car on the lot and that he’d make the sales rep pay for a new one for my Tucson and said they’d call me back when it was ready. That was 2 weeks ago and I still haven’t heard anything. I feel taken advantage of and was sold a filthy car with zero gas in the tank and thought I had two working keys, but only have one. REALLY disappointed. Would NOT recommend. More

Much better experience than in the past. Faster in and out, thanks to Kevin, who is now posted at an outside desk next to where the cars come in.
