Exceptional service and work done. I came from an another dealership to correct the poor workmanship that was done to my 2016 Nissan Maxima after having it there for 8 days. I was not about to give them another moment of my time to get bad service repair. I came to Downey Nissan to see if I could get my vehicle fixed correctly. Downey Nissan exceeded my expectations. I was shown what was wrong with the repair from the other dealership. I took a picture. I drove away completely satisfied with the work done on my vehicle. More
Unhelpful, condescending, and overall careless I took my car to check the air pressure on a tire and they told me nothing was wrong that it was a change in temperature that caused this (I don’t thi I took my car to check the air pressure on a tire and they told me nothing was wrong that it was a change in temperature that caused this (I don’t think heat decreases pressure, less so 14 psi lower than it should be). When I looked at the work order, it said nothing of a tire check. I took it in the following week and they told me they didn’t even see my car service in the system from the previous week. When they inspected it, they said there was a nail in my tire. I spoke to the manager Yoni about it and told him I traveled with my newborn child in that car, under dangerous conditions, after they told me nothing was wrong and he said “Sorry I don’t see anything in the system, I don’t know what to tell you. If you have the work order I can reprimand whoever is at fault.” My point wasn’t to get anyone in trouble, it was the fact that I didn’t get the service provided that I asked for, and my family was put in danger. The manager was blind to this, didn’t offer an apology, didn’t offer a discount, I spent money on Ubers, wasted my time more than once for the same issue, and nothing was done about it except a ridiculous bill and a condescending attitude about how I didn’t have the receipt for the previous work order. In addition to that, my AC wasn’t working, they told me the manufacturer over charged it (What does that mean? Couldn’t get a clear response) but it was fixed. Drove the car home and the AC is still not working. I’ll have to take it again, and deal with the same carelessness and condescending attitudes. Oh one last thing, if you want to get the status of your vehicle, good luck with that, because the only person who can help you is the one person (out of dozens of employees) who took your car in. Such a mess. More

The service department, unfortunately, had just closed. But that didn’t stop Steve Saenz from helping me as much as he could. He broke down, in detail, what possible electrical/transmissional/ or even engine problems I was possibly facing based on my explanation of my experience. He explained what the possible problems were and how they possibly came to be. But assured me that his team would thoroughly check and repair the issue. Steve even broke down what the possible payment options would be. Everything was explained step by step. The very next day I received an email update with a video by service team member who was assigned my truck explaining what the issue was and what possible services I should look into next. I was genuinely satisfied with the line of service and professionalism I was given from Downey Nissan! More
