I am from the central valley (Fresno Area) and after weeks of dealing with shady Nissan dealerships in my area I was placed in contact with Sergey Ulchenko at Downey Nissan through the Consumer Report c weeks of dealing with shady Nissan dealerships in my area I was placed in contact with Sergey Ulchenko at Downey Nissan through the Consumer Report car buying program. The deal sounded way too good to be true when I was given the offer and in all honesty I figured I was going to get the bait and switch. I spoke with Sergey over a few days and he was well aware I was unable to make it down right away and he assured me he would hold the car for me. I frequently sent him questions via text and he quickly answered them. He sent me photographs of of the vehicle and the questions he answered were thorough. I received a break down of the price and rebates I would be receiving along with the finance I requested. Sergey said everything would be prepared by the time I arrived. I drove 3 1/2 hours to Downey Nissan thinking the whole time I was more than likely dealing with just another dealer and going to waste my day. Upon arrival Sergey showed me the vehicle he held for me and assured it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Sergey then took me into "THE ROOM" where he showed me the break down of what the offer was. This is where I figured things would change. What Sergey showed me was to the PENNY of what we spoke about over the phone and the quote he emailed me. The finance was all set up too and no surprises. Sergey said everything would be prepared and it was.....I was out of there in an hour. Sergey then showed me all the features on my vehicle and was very familiar with it since he owned one himself. The car was cleaned, fueled up and floor mats were in their place. Sergey even helped me get my rental returned before I left. This has been my best experience with a dealership ever. Everyone at Downey Nissan was easy to work with. If Sergey moved to a dealership in San Diego I would make that drive, just to have the easy experience. More

I just moved to Los Angeles from Inland Empire and had a 17 year relationship with my previous dealership and their staff. Randy Toro was confident that he could assist me with my minor service needs for th 17 year relationship with my previous dealership and their staff. Randy Toro was confident that he could assist me with my minor service needs for the day so I came by even though downtown is closer to my residence. He found upon inspection of my vehicle that there were other issues that could be handled under my warranty. No pressure to spend money I do not have Randy even took care of a loaner for the day. I really appreciated the fact that my car was ready when they said it would be. The reason for the 4 rating of quality of work my car was washed but not dried properly. Also the 4 rating for price, My previous dealership never charged me for oil changes, call me spoiled I guess. More
It started with a 15-20 minute wait to even get an advisor to help me, when my car was finished it felt like me asking the advisor about my car bothered him,I waited an extra hour an a half for a so c advisor to help me, when my car was finished it felt like me asking the advisor about my car bothered him,I waited an extra hour an a half for a so called car wash, lastly an employee driving my car hit the speed speed bump at least 20-25 mph. Its actually my first time owning a nissan and going to a nissan dealer and it will definetley be my last. I also own a toyota truck and consistley take it to the dealer to get it service and even when I expierance a bad day there it stilll doesnt add up to what I expierance at the nissan dealer in (Downey). I guess toyata sets to much of a high standard on what a quality car and service should be. I hope you advise all employees about this issue and remind them about what a 5 star customer service really is.Lastly me engine light was never removed and is still on, and I refuse to go back to save myself the frustration and stress. For those of us whoose job requires that we start our shift early in the morning, it becomes nearly impossible to obtain the maintenance that our vehicles require and being able to drop of my vehicle tha shift early in the morning, it becomes nearly impossible to obtain the maintenance that our vehicles require and being able to drop of my vehicle that early in the morning is great but it is even more satisfying when you know you can count with shuttle service to be picked up and droped off. The services provided to me on 5/16/2011 were very fast, I dropped off my vehicle at 7:24 am and by 9:00 am I was already getting my call telling me the services were complete. I would also like to acknowledge the shuttle driver on that day for his hard work, on picking me up that day, unfortunately I do not have his name. I commend you on the great service you are able to provide those of us that are constantly working. And would definitely recommend your dealer to all Nissan owners!!!! Sincerely Mireya Murillo More
