Very accommodating I scheduled online and made a mistake as to the type of servic I needed. Turns out it was going to be 3 hours and I had a scheduling conflict. He called service to alert them, got me a loaner, and later called me to tell me that my brakes pads were badly worn (thank goodness they caught that). He called when the car was ready and took a while to explain exactly what was done and why. He was great. Highly recommend Dover Honda. More

Having had a serious discussion with the service manager "Nick" and asked to return to their store for service, I relented and did return where I was treated well, with respect , and found them displaying a much different attitude, one devoid of arrogance, and instilling in the customer a sense of true caring, for both the customer, and, the vehicle. Prior to this visit, if I was asked where I bought my SUV and if I was happy with it, I would tell them to visit the Sales dept., and ask for either Rick Stern, my salesman, or his manager, Bruce Sellars and they would be very happy with their purchase. I would also tell them to stay away from the service dept. But no longer. I give not only the Sales department, once again, the highest rating possible, but now also, through the efforts of both " Nick", our Honda Service Mgr, and James, our Honda Service Advisor, I give a well earned THANK YOU, and high ratings for displaying those traits so necessary in achieving customer loyalty, by making my wife and I feel both welcomed and at ease during our visit. Kudos to all of you. More
Emergency brake failure. I had an emergency and had to stop in without an appointment. The Service Writer was excellent. The problem was quickly assessed and resolved. Was traveling and needed quick service on a Saturday! We were traveling and about 260 miles from home. A couple days before, our Odessey service light came on indicating 15% oil life remaining. We were in Southern Maine and as we left our hotel we saw the low tire pressure light on. This has happened on two of our Honda's before and always turned out to be tire punctures, that were not repairable. I contacted Dover Honda and spoke with Jen in service. She was extremely helpful, and although it was a Saturday and they had a full schedule, she said to come by and they would try to help us. We made it there without issues, and Jen actually met us as we pulled up. Extremely friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service. We were very lucky in that the low tire pressure this time was only due to the drastic change in temperatures. They also took the time to do our oil and filter service which was great since we still had many more miles of traveling in the area before heading home! Overall, outstanding visit in all respects! Did a great job on a Honda Recall but Besides the recall service they did an under car inspection I did not request (the recall did not need it being on a lift). I was told I needed an immediate $510 in ball joint repair and valve adjustments. A thorough inspection by my mechanic showed that in his opinion, these repairs were unnecessary (in fact one ball joint had recently been replaced). My opinion is get a second opinion at this dealership. Otherwise they are quite pleasant. Honda makes great cars, don't be duped into unnecessary repairs; you are much better off with your local mechanic as they will not cheat you because they want your long term business and are generally your neighbor as well. PS service guy: the oil had just been changed, that was my "oil leak", this little Element does not leak oil! More
